BaylorCorvette
So I really like the white / black contrasting colors here. However, I'm not the best at painting white and was wondering what recommendations people had to best replicate the off white color of the mount? willange
I might start with an off-white under coat and then carefully add a watered-down yellow/brown wash to darken it up and bring out the crevasses between the scales.
Kramer
It also looks quite a lot as grey seer spraycoat with apothacary white contract paint but slightly more 'dirty' so you could try the more yellow contrast undercoat.

In my eyes rather that Idoneth Deepkin Skin Base Color with a thinned down beige Contrast used as shade.

I’ll see if I can take a picture when I come home to show what I mean 👍 maybe I’m misremembering but I’m pretty sure the scrolls I did with apocothaey white looked quite brown as well over a warmer undercoat.
Routasydän
Try the new citadel sprays, grey seer or the bone one. Id guess youd get pretty far with those and some very diluted layers of washing.
