I have not try it yet and as much as I am agreeing that Brayherds are useless (and not just against Death, I mean I love them and always will, they were my first love and will always play them), have you guys tried to include 2 Cygor against Death? Is just an idea I wanna test but on paper the re-roll to hit against wizards sounds cool and the -2 D6 also looks pretty juicy. BTW yeah I know they are not Brayherd but Warherd my point was to include them in a chaos army XD. I will possibly try the in an either Brayheard with 2 casters ,so I can get 6 dispel attempts ( i have no interest in actually casting against a +3 to dispel but you always try anyway and the shaman is a better option the the Beastlord) or in a heavy mad-cows Warherd army (maybe with one bray shaman maybe not).
