scrubyandwells
Hi all, if you were a TO, which of the 30 AoS Pitched Battles would be in your top *12* for Matched Play tournament consideration? Please submit your response here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdkRKwzx20FHY8tAkBnTCMR8GUpYjD4lUCEnUHASaCwUX3Xpg/viewform?usp=sf_link Results will be shared once we have a good number of responses. PJetski
I would be surprised to hear a tournament using any battleplan printed before 2019... but especially those from 2016, that's really weird. My top 12 would have to be the 12 battleplans from 2019.

Appreciate the view, though! Hopefully this survey will be helpful. Edited July 11, 2019 by scrubyandwells
PlasticCraic
Yeah Blood and Glory is a good shout in my opinion, because it's one that can be harder to get a Major Victory on, where you still feel like you're playing an actual Battlelplan. It was used at Badgacon in Australia recently, and it was a good inclusion in the pack. I don't know the new ones well enough to have a valid opinion on them yet, but I will vote when I do.

Warmill
I'm not surprised relocation orb is at the bottom, I've never played a game where the orb hasn't beelined straight away from my army in turn 2 and 3.

Morglum StormBasha
Out of interest how many votes did you have ? Trying to understand how meaningful that data is
PlasticCraic
One of the new ones I'm not keen on is Battle for the Pass - the diagonal deployment zones are annoying to work with. I prefer either of the older versions (long or wide) because they're very similar but more streamlined to set up. That one feels like change for its own sake rather than an improvement to me personally.
PJetski
Have you guys tried the battleplans in Forbidden Power? They are really cool, it's a shame they didn't see reprint in GHB2019.

I'm sure there are a couple more out there too...Firestorm maybe? I actually wouldn't mind playing a whole event of those one day. Or more realistically, seeing if some mates fancy stringing them together as a kind of campaign.

I've played the two (?) in FP a few times and agree - Sorcerous Streams, if I recall correctly, is better than a lot of the GHB missions.
