Is it sad that I am only interested in Grotbag's if they dress like traditional pirates?

Not at all.

Also incredibly disappointed to load up GW Online Store to find Aleguzzlers are back in stock only for by the time I complete the order, literal seconds, they're sold out again. So either it was simply listed wrong or they sold out incredibly quickly.

I’m actually not so sure how many players buy the specialist games boxes explicitly for the specific specialist game anyway. For most it seems to just be a way to add some variety/conversion material to their own project, whatever it may be. For me it surely is. 😎

Good question.
probably but of a filter bubble going there as well. As I don’t play underworlds outside of home, I don’t see the people who keep buying every set.

On the bright side it showcases that there is a demand for Sons and that hints at them getting continued support by GW. I know I am interested in them but they are probably going to fall just outside of my budget. 😅

Yeah thats what I find so appealing about them - elements to add to armies/projects to personalise them which isn't always what you get form the more unit based kits for the main games.

Going to be really interesting to see where the story goes between now and what happens with AOS 3.0.

If the next Campaign book is Gordrakk Sieging Excelsis itll be interesting to see its ramifications. Where do you guys hope the story goes for AOS 3.0 or indeed the next Campaign book if it isnt the Siege of Excelsis?

I think it’s going to a bigger thing than a city falling. So someone invading azyr, or another expansion of free peoples.
basically an human faction. 😁

If they were to update the COS with new Human units that would ****** incredible.

Part of me hopes is not that cause: Excelsis is a really interesting city with few novels around and would be sad losing it or, even worst, they leave it like Lethis damaged but not broken or like Glymmsforge in an unknown state.

I hope that there is a war in the realm of heaven with Gordrak's attack and that they continue to develop Nagash attacking the Eightpoints. I think this keeps all of the alliances narratively engaged in a major conflict. But I would hope that Destruction gets to take central stage as the big threat this time around.

I also want Slaanesh to be freed and the addition of Malerion. I have argued (unconvincingly) that I want these two things could coincide with Malerion being corrupted and Slaaneshi mortals to be Malerion's Aelves.

I think they might be separated. So a specific Hysh free cities book. A ghur human book. A metal realm dispossed.
that way the models can be a realm specific as well

That would be absolutely amazing, though I doubt they would get their own books, perhaps Sub Factions.

Glymmsforge is still holding on. The Soulbound book mentions the council of Glymmsforge stemming the tide of the growing Ossiarch Empire.
