Strange question, but will we get a live preview for all the SCE and Kruelboyz minis or will they drop some in a more low key manner?

It can go either way, most cases in the past have been with a battletome article revealing most of the new models of a new range with 1-2 new units never seen or discussed in the battletome previews and modern live video previews revealing everything. A few times White Dwarf and GW has spilled the beans too ahead of time too with potato cam pics of the last few new units.

I really hope we can get a look at the new battletomes soon for the new art and lore.

It's kinda funny..3 years ago, Notthingham could not produce enough plastic and AoS 2.0 was all about endless spells and terrain from China...

Now, it seems like with the pandemic and Brexit, perhaps they are having the opposite problem (what happened to cursed city??).

I don't know if the molds used in China for endless spells work on the UK tooling..or even if they are struggling to get more sprues from china, just something to consider.

Either way, they can't be released individually, it would have to be 1 sprue at minimum which for most is multiple endless spells..   but they for sure have doubled down on them in 3.0 so I guess they'll find some way to produce and productize them going forward.

Also maybe we don't get another big preview before the battletomes. The dragons will be released with battletome: stormcast extremis or the 6th stormcast Eternals battletome 4 months after the 5th!

The past 3 years has seen seismic changes for many UK companies and GW hasn't escaped.  They've been expanding the company with new warehouses and expanding their factory & office capacity.  I've always had the impression that the plastic terrain made in China was a temporary stop gap until they'd increased their capacity here.  Any company that imports products is also currently facing huge transportation problems with costs spiralling out of control - think I heard a container is now costing £15k from the far east (two years ago it was £2k).

I know a few KS that are having trouble simply because there's no containers to put their products on so its delaying production and shipping and costing them more. Thing is the shipping problem is unlikely to resolve until well after the pandemic eases off and shipping and warehouses can work at full capacity once more.

Non-essentials are having a harder time because its easily pushed to the back whilst more essential shipping gets pushed forward (where possible).

Everything you said sounds pretty solid and extremely plausible, but since it was not Malerion Aelves, Chaos Dwarves or Dark Mechanicum I shall instead refuse to acknowledge your theory in favour of geeky denial.

In all reality I think this is a really good list... I guess my only question is whether or not a new dual box could be in the cards for AOS alongside the Chaos announcement or is it still too early in 3.0?

Theres always that rumoured Gloomspite Vs Beasts of Chaos box...

Coming in fashionably late ("A wizard is never late!") to weigh on the rumour engine...

I was sure at first it was a Seraphon headdress or something similar, but looking at it closer it has a duardin quality to it while lacking the ornateness we associate with Dispossessed. It could be something Order Duardin-y, but I'm going to inhale some more copium and ride the "it's Chaos Duardin!" train to the bitter end.

I don't think so because BoC needs a big update and I don't expect any big release before January.

I expect a Battlebox Nurgle vs Something in October-November

Some rumors going around about Horus Heresy being moved to a mainline GW range from FW with a focus on plastic kits that can be used in 40k as well. A general "Age of Darkness" game setting that is separate from 40k but wider in scope than current Horus Heresy.

This might then free Forge World to primarily focus on The Old World?

Could this be GW looking for an outlook for creative freedom in 40K like they have in AOS?

I’m not sure the ‘historic’ game in the 40k setting gives them more creative freedom than just normal 40k does (if you even believe the random reddit rumours).

Didn't realise how amazing the Demigryph Knight box is for kit bashing. After seeing that amazing Greatsword helmet conversion, it just inspired me to finally take another crack at some Knight themed Stormcast.

Know its not rumours so apologies but know a lot of people have been looking for some decent knight style heads. I think they fit rather nicely. So definitely pick up some Demigryphs if you can!

I'd like to see BoC go in that January refresh slot that Gitz had a couple of years ago. Might not hit all their models but It'd be be a big help for them.

Hopefully a battlebox isn't Nurgl;e vs Sylvaneth, I'd like to see both armies engage in a broader set of conflicts. If we are getting a BoC refresh and a new duardin army soonish (not expecting still next Spring at least) I could see them focused on an army that needs a book but not really models (Nighthaunt?)

I have an underutilised Demi set and some Stormcast, I think I have an evening of cutting and glueing to do.

To me, the popularity of these types of conversions highlights the fact that there is a real demand for more "toned down" design. While I am sure some like stormcast sculpts, I know some of us are put off by the over the top design paradigm.

I like some wacky stuff, otherwise I'd be playing historicals, but I like some semblance of "normality" too. Face masks or "everyone is Gelt now" has never appealed to me.

That rumor talked about the box GK vs Tzeentch having many new models for grey knights and we already know is not true though.

That seemed a very big wishlists as it also said that books order would have been strange (nurgle chaos-gloomspite destruction-beast of chaos...).

Yeah, with the new slimmed down armour the only problem I have left with Stormcast are their heads. Or rather, the sort of lightning crown thing they all have. I'd prefer more knightly helms to the Gelt mask, but even just removing the crown makes them way better.

Not heard that one, but would be surprised as Age of Darkness and Titanicus share some of the same resources (both set in the Heresy).  FW were advertising for plastic sculptors not that long ago too.  FW/specialist games have separate teams for each game system which includes Aeronatica, Bloodbowl and all the Lord of the Rings bits

Maybe I'm wrong, but I have the feeling that it's not that SCE are better without their characterístic helmet, it's just that there is a missing theme in AoS of normal dudes with heavy armors...

agreed.... I want (Demigryph-) Knight of the blazing sun ;(

Wanting (or even needing) something doesn't make it so.  How many armies "needed" something in AoS 2.0 (more than spells and terrain) and how many actually got it? Most armies still need "big" updates (either small armies like Fireslayers, DoK, SoB) or models with many outdated kits (CoS, seraphon, skaven, boc, ogors, std).   They can't address all those this cycle..there may be some souping/consolidation (model squatting), and the other armies may just get a battletome and hopefully a plastic hero or maybe even a single unit kit.   Look at how long eldar is waiting to only receive a unit and a hero

Is it missing, though, or just pushed to the side?

Because those helmets from the conversions come current kits, great swords and demigryph knights.

If I had to guess, they really like blocky only armor designs as they are, at a beginner level, just easier to paint. So it is easier to recommend as an entry point for the game (elite, easy to paint). For sure that's the case with marines, and sigmarines is a meme for a reason.
