Could be a new Ironweld artillery piece. I'd say that it's from Azyr in some format because the lion head features a lot on Stormcast (shoulderpads, Dracoth armour etc), the anvil does suggest Duardin/Ironweld though. Perhaps this is a model tied to a Stormcast/Duardin alliance along the same lines as the Stormcast /Sylvaneth thing. They wouldn't ally with Kharadron, would they? We still have unrevealed teasers from March 22nd - the lamprey eel with wings perched on a dark elf arm and 29th March - the weird bone plow thing. Over a quarter of a year ago! EvDJ Posted June 29, 2017 Share Posted June 29, 2017 I was just wondering if it might have something to do with the Anvils of Heldenhammer Stormcast, who I think might have some Stormcast reforged from heroes from shyish, and who played quite a big role in Sigmar trying to recruit Nagash in 'Lord of Undeath'. Yeah, the smiths reforge the stormcast on the 'Anvil of Apotheosis'. An interesting note is that a Duardian god made the armour they wear, and there is mention of the 'Six Smiths'. Seeing a Duardian Azyr based army could be cool. As for all the stormcast fatigue, there is only like 4 chambers and a temple without models. SCE can already shoot as well or better than Wanderers, melee as well as Orruks, survive better than anyone else, and move around the table/deploy like Sylvaneth. You don't NEED to have the equivalent of what other armies are themed around. It's actually okay for other armies to have something that SCE DON'T have. There are is a section on the book where they describe various major battles going on between Chaos and other forces where they talk a little bit about the events and have a little list of the players involved. In the list the Pestigor Legions are listed multiple times other things too like , Redhorn Bloodgors, SporeWalker-Colossal Beast and a Tentacled Behemoth-WarpMonster are all listed for in Korn, Nurgle and Slaanesh army's respectively. I would say this is a strong hint that both Nurgle and Korn are going to get Tzaangors equivelents and that there might be some big beastys also on the way, all of witch I would bet would be for both 40k and AOS. What do you guys think of that?
