What's the name of the new Chamber that is yet to be opened? Is it the Siege specialists?

The Ruination Chamber, though no one really knows what it entails, I think the siege specialist idea is just speculation at this stage.

There’s actually 3: Ruination, Covenant,  Logister.

They all sound awesome including the last if only because it suggests some sort of logic-wizard.

Okay. Looks like a magical / honorific Staff or Banner pole****. Idk why, it looks less elaborate (smaller ?) that the one used by SCE. So it could mean....

- BEST SITUATION : a whole new range of Devoted Of Sigmar (at last common Human Azyrites for AOS, probably for the Siege Of Excelsis or of Azyr book vs Gordrakk which should be coming this year. It should also mean maps of Azyr and Ghur would be coming.....)

- Almost BEST SITUATION : a new Devoted Of Sigmar warband for WHU or Warcry (or WHQ ? Cf. Silver Tower and the Excelsior Warpriest).

- Okay Situation : a new Stormcast Chamber (probably "Ruination" for the siege theme) or warband for Warcry or WHQ (I don't think WHU need a fifth SCE gang.......)

*** those Devoted have lots of staff, banners and poles don't they...................................................................................

it probably for Stormcast, since that design and golden spikes matches some of the other stormcast staffs

Devoted o Sigmar also make sense because the previous range has been mostly squatted at this point and they didn't put the Excelsior Warpriest into the Cities book.

or Warhammer Weekly's prediction is correct and the new Chamber is Covenant and it incorporates the Devoted of Sigmar as part of the chamber.

Absolutely hoping for your best situation. We need more Human Mortals in AOS and I really want the Siege of Excelsis book. Heres hoping its Stormcast/Devoted VS Orruk Warclans and perhaps a cameo from the Sons of Behemat.

That would be glorious. And frankly, Ironjawz and SoB Gatebreakers are soooo fitting a choice to burn down Excelsis it's not funny x)

And I can think of SO MUCH reasons to make the Devoted Of Sigmar a proper army ...... Sigmar Willing

We may have already seen the gatebreakers at work. There were gargants taking orders from Gordraak tasked with smashing open a storm vault in that story where gordrakk retrieves the god beast skull

Which story is that? I'd love to read it.

The second mention of the "Gordrakk attack excelsis" narrative arc :

https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/09/06/forbidden-power-the-hammer-god/

The first being in the Forbidden power book itself, and the others in the Cities Of Sigmar and Orruk Warclans battletomes respectively

Sorry this is a but pedantic but hey, we've all got plenty of time on our hands.

There are actually plenty of Human Mortals in AoS at the moment - tons, and tons, and tons.

It's just that they're all chaos!

I'd be well on board for more Order Humans though.

I would really rather have the human keyword removed from Stormcast.

Keeping it there means no Elven, Dwarven or Halfling souls got taken, which is a bit limiting, and it's not like Sigmar's constructions really adhere to human biological limitations anyway.

Hard to say. From the start SCE leaned towards a jagged bolt variant of the comet, this one is smooth.

its slightly less jagged maybe. But it’s very close to the broach/clasp on het shoulder.
softer lines in the rumour engine but this is already less jagged then the warrior chamber.

image.png.8d9ce26a36b0c3119ee0784382400c8b.png

his belt buckle’s lightning less jagged still.

point being that such a small detail is more likely to be a designers preference or size limitation rather than a sign of a different chamber.

But out of curiosity, the book “siege of Excellis” and the assumption we are getting siege rules and all of that, has ever been validated or is just one of those speculations that took hold and is given as granted?

Hm, didn't Wrath of the Everchosen come with siege rules? Would they come with two siege based rule expansions in a row?

They do, well, only 3 pages. That’s also another reason why another book in the same year presenting the same theme seems quite rare. I saw white dwarfs splitting in two months, but an expansion book? I doubt it. I just wanted to check if there was any validity on this “Siege of Excellis” book as in time lead to wild speculations from a box Stormcast vs Ironjaws, to new war machines coming, etc etc

That's what i'm thinking, a new Sacrosanct hero. The chamber tease seems too early with so many big releases yet to even be ready while more badass celestial wizard paladins makes a nice stop-gap release while buffing Order as a whole. Likely in preparation for what's going down at Excelsis.

Also yeah, pure speculation right now. All we know is Gordrakk has his sights on the city with his new God-beast battering ram. That can range from anything from another "Wrath of the Everchosen" campaign to a full blown Global campaign next year to open up a new map of the realm of beasts.

Only time will tell.

Hey folks, what do you think about the white dwarf preview of the legion of tithe?

It's mentioned that there will be 3 warscroll battalions do you think there will also be new subfactions abilities?

What rules do you think ossiarch bonereapers would need right now to allow for more diverse play style ? :)

(I would trade my +1 save for something built around resurrection)

There's a lot of mentions of dark pacts and arcane contracts in the article so maybe way more magical bents like Ossiarch infantry becoming more sacrificial to empower their leaders while ensorcelled heroic duels are used to claim their tithe?

I remember back in 2017 the logister chamber  was  mentioned as a new chamber in response to the Age of Intrigue and the logistics to better move troops and supplies around to combat the Tzeentch forces infesting the new cities and burgeoning civilizations. So likely support Stormcast wizards that improve summons and command point abilities.
