The video games equivalent GDC was just cancelled/postponed fears about the Corona virus. With major events being cancelled being cancelled left and right, any upcoming trade show or convention is at risk of cancellation including Adepticon itself. I think we meant "doing it online" Though I still think it would be strange for GW to publish an article for an event that do not take place, nothing prevent them, technically, to post their preview article on WarCom as if nothing happened... As a result stock might be an issue. This is already affecting some companies, Warcradle has had to postpone their relaunch (3 years waiting) for Dystopian Wars because of several key bits of stock being left unproduced due to factory shut downs. GW might well suffer as will any company that relies on overseas production from China. . If Adepticon is cancelled GW will simply do their preview online through the main page as normal; we just won't get the presentation aspects and such. And Majority of stuff that is to be released in next two monhts is already in UK. Unless China is playing the game of balancing safety against economic growth and stability. Of course factories in known "clear/safe" zones opening up again isnt' a bad thing if they can control population movements enough to keep them isolated from infected areas. I agree GW will have 2 months worth of stock - or there abouts - already in hand or already on the ship heading over. So a lag-time effect on this might be felt in a few months time with a slowdown. Then again GW might spread things out so that we get a few more things like the recent metal rescastings where GW doesn't need any overseas product to work with. The hammer head is directly above is hand (his hand top left hand is touching it. Ditto no idea what Corona Virus will do to GW's stock, production etc. If they're dependent as with most firms here on anything from Europe in their supply chain it looks increasingly likely that will be affected unless things are rapidly brought under control.
