General and all units within 6" may add +1 to all save rolls they make as long as they didn't charge this turn. Does not stack with the cover bonus. (...yeah, I had to reread that as well.)

Oh...oh my.

Wait are you sure it isn't when they have not attacked this turn?

Add +1 to the Attacks of one melee weapon. Add +2 Attacks instead if used against Chaos.

Pick a melee weapon. Improve that weapon's Rend by 1.

Wasn't that impressed by the Weapons, some of these are very good though :)

Knight Azyros lost the "precise deep strike" mechanic, so no more Warrior Brotherhood going more than 9" (unless it's in their special rules).  Also I noticed the Wardens of the Realmgate (the one that won LVO) is not in the battalions list anymore; would that mean it's no longer allowed?

'The Skyborne Slayers', 'Wardens of the Realmgate',  and 'Warrior Brotherhood' are all gone.  Likely due to the trait and other mechanics.

So much extra stuff, but no point increases.  I am curious if there are any governs on the laterns and such.  Latern of the Tempest is quite handy.  Prayers are in addition to regular prayers as well.

Though maybe people will just take the LCOD anyway!  ...if only it didn't have that bum knee...

Most of it are just artefacts.

In the end the stormcast have:

A prayer for every priest (basically the equivalent of a spell lore)

1 Artefacts +1 for each battalion, that can be chosen from the following lists:

weapons
armour
talismans
Banners  (for TOTEM)
lights (for Castellant, Azyros and Veritant)

And the trait for the steeds, which is a true addiction.

Why? You can still play grand alliance armies. You can use general order abilities, many of which are better than Stormcast specific ones.

All the cool stuff is not applicable. And sadly the general order abilities are not good for ranged units (my non Stormcast units).

oh well.  I will hold judgement till I read the full book. But not a good way to attract new ppl.
