Kugane
I think they want AOS fans to focus on warcry right now. So they may hold down on leaks/news for a week or so. Next week the warcry hype should have gone down. Edited August 10, 2019 by Kugane
Still-young
There’s at least one more week of Space Marines, and if it’s one week there’s a fair bit in that week so I doubt there’ll be anything alongside it.
HammerOfSigmar
Next week will be the preview of Imperial Fist, Salamander, Iron had and Raven Guard, so probably no AOS news, we might need to wait till next Saturday or Sunday to get some AOS news. madmac
August is basically a bust at this point, it's looking unlikely we'll get anything on pre-order before the 24th for release at the end of the month. It's weird though, we got the big expansive AoS preview showing a bunch of stuff that was apparently two months out at best, while the 40k preview had pretty much one thing that came out immediately.

Next week will be some or all of the new Space Marine units; infiltrators, eliminators, dread-thing, new transport, new lieutenant. Iron Hands is likely to be pretty soon because we've already seen the primaris techmarine. Beyond that, dunno, but it wouldn't entirely surprise me if they didn't come with Primaris'd characters - Vulkan, Shrike, etcetera. My prediction, incidentally, is the Vanguard models in one wave next week, then one of either CoS or Orruks (or maybe both), and then Iron Hands in september, and the other space marine books before the end of the year. Sadly I doubt we'll see either CoS or the Orruk book before September. If it wasn't for the fact that GW needs to cram in a Ogor and a Death book before the end of the year, as well as more 40k stuff, I doubt we'd have seen them before october. That kind of thing is a big deal for people looking to cash in on merchandising knock-offs. I don't think I'm being silly at all it was always going to be a big red dragon though, the design of the model isn't even the one from the movie. Anyway this is off topic Ok yeah, after looking at it a bit more it is a very similar design as the movie version, I was wrong it probably was that then. Cataphract
Yep looks like NoVa is when we will hear more about anything. Not only do they have to do the supplements for the other Chapters but the releases for the Vanguard SM box sets including the new transport and Dreadnought. EccentricCircle
How many space marines do people need? They already make the stormcast range look a bit limited! I'll admit I'm biased, being a xenos player, but other 40k factions need it much more (cough eldar cough.) More on topic, it feels like we pretty much have a roadmap for the rest of the year at this point, there isn't much space left for them to squeeze in more than a couple of surprises, so the rumour game is mainly trying to guess what order things will happen. Overread
For AoS I hope Free Cities comes first in the Battletome releases if just because of the massive Cull that just happened. Right now I'm guessing: Free Cities Battletome Underworld new season release (possible but not certain) Orruks Battletome Underworld new season release (more possible if the first one didn't happen) Feast of Bones - duel army box with Ogors and new model. 2nd army unknown Ogors Battletome - could come with Feast of Bones (like Skaven and Flesheaters did) or could be its own release. Be very surprising if it doesn't appear this year. New Death Battletome - unsure where and how this best fits in. I'm not sure it would come with Feast of Bones since it would, ideally, be a brand new army with mostly new sculpts. If its only half-new and slaves out existing models it might be a more minor release with Feast of Bones. In there somewhere should be a Warcry release of the next 2 Warbands and for certain a second card release for the rest of the AoS regular armies (this should be pretty early on). There might also be another terrain pack and other things released alongside as well, though right now its very hard to say how much or in what nature the Warcry releases will take. What I'd like to see and hope will come: Slaves to Darkness Battletome. Capitalising off the Warcry warbands and general chaos interest it would make full sense to have this Tome appear this year. Especially since after Ogors and Orruks this will be the last army with no battletome what so ever through the whole life of AoS. This would mean GW could reach the important Christmas period with the entire AoS line having battletomes. Yes Seraphon, KO and Tzeentch would have older, but still functional Tomes. More importantly the new tomes come with the most risk of losing models from an army, whilst those three with old tomes are less likely to lose any models. Forgeworld Warcry releases - FW has done stuff for all the specialist games from 40K, so if Warcry is going to follow suit it would be great to see some FW stuff from them. Beasties, generic mercenaries for Grand Alliances, expansion models for the Warcry Warbands etc....
alghero81
Yeah it seems we are pretty full this year but in theory there is space for some surprises, resuming: - we know Cities of Sigmar book is coming but we don’t know if followed by endless spells, terrain factions or even new miniatures (unlikely but not impossible) - same as above but for the Orruks - we know the first 2 warbands of Beastgrave, usually they preview a bit more and release at least another 2 before the end of the year. Also we know Dreadfane warbands will be available in UK and other countries but don’t recall if by the end of the year or possibly next year - we know the Ogors are getting a new hero, most likely in a duel box with something else. We don’t know if this means a book coming out soon after or delayed to next year - we don’t know who is the other part of the Ogor box, it could be a new death faction but there are arguments in favour of both and against this theotu - we have the rumours of a new death faction coming sometime this year and only a teaser so far - we know there is at least one more chaos battletome coming this year and only two left: Slaves and Tzeentch. They may come with new miniatures or not. Slaves most likely than Tzeentch. So if I didn’t forget anything looks like we can still have some surprises, ignoring the Kurnothi as a possible army and other duel boxes... Overread
With Sisters of Battle and a new Death army I'm not foreseeing any big model updates this year. So any new tomes I'm expecting to come with either one token new model or no new models. Even Slaves to Darkness since technically the new models for that are the warbands from Warcry. Kirjava13
Sure, we needed a 'stealthy' pretend dreadnought for Spess Mehreens to play with, definitely needed that and not, say, updated anything. Yes, yes, I know. Just wanted to get it off my chest.

But the rumors and informations point on the last chaos book being Tzeench. There was also an interview somewhere on the FB group where they said Slaneesh already was counting against the new Faction book this year. And Tzeench is the only chaos book not being 2.0 It looks really grim for the chaos warriors, Sorry. Yesterday i saw 12 Chaos warriors for $4 on ebay. Either it's a brilliant time to buy or StD have a sad future.
Still-young
Next week’s preorders doesn’t cover all the Space Marine stuff, there’s still another week of that to go after next week before we see any AoS stuff.
