madmac Posted July 31, 2019 Share Posted July 31, 2019 It's a good theory, the spear especially doesn't really look like anything except Bonesplitters. Seraphon are the only other faction with stone age weapons, and even then the designs are different. (A lot more gold, for one thing.) The crude wraps and what looks like a tassle are much more indicative of Bonesplittas. OTOH, there's been no other hint of anything else coming for Bonesplittas, especially now that they are being folded in with Ironjawz, and those two rumor engines are some of the oldest unresolved ones. Maybe a underworlds Warband? They would certainly fit the Ghur theme of BeastGrave. Even just providing a plastic prophet via underworlds would be a nice bonus for them. But yeah, the runes on the ruins match the runes on the Harlequin models, so I’m leaning Eldar for them, although there’s a fair amount of crossover with Eldar and elf runes and things. I know, some are old models and like everyone else we want new stuff, but i belive when GW decides to add more models into existing armies, Seraphon wont be on top of the list. The scaly one could actually be either Seraphon or Exodites, as there are two outstanding rumors for each one from two highly reliable rumor mongers. If you take the Aeldari arch into account, it could be Exodites as Atia said they were coming in a few years, a few years ago. She said we were going to see Enforcers around the same time she was talking about Exodites, and those barely came out recently so she sees things way in advance. However, the ever reliable Hastings said two weeks ago he had heard Seraphon would be one of the warbands for Warhammer Underworlds Season 3. So could be either one, then again, could intentionally appear to be a dinosaur and actually be something else entirely and just looks like a dinosaur to throw us off.
