And would you like to enlighten us on what bases or information you predict those news?

they probably won’t announce anything until the open day on July 20th so at best the earliest the release would only happen on August. These comming 3 months are already pack with all the 40k stuff, contrast, and warcry that are going to be release in this time frame.

my speculation is that they are going to reveal two army release on open day and those two armies are going to coincide with the two starter set warbands for shadespire season 3 and have the last two battletome be release in the September-October month range between the sister of battle release.

Gotrek.

Ugh.

Let him die.

He's not a god, or even a super powered dude. He's just a really bad Slayer. He should be dead.

Yeah absolutely!!! He is the worst slayer, he can’t die. Keeps getting up again. It’s just GW trying to teach the people to stick with an army and not chase the meta.. if you keep playing squigs you end up winning a bunch and getting your warhammmer community preview ... or slay a bunch of deamons and get your book line continued due to successful sales.

Its downright inspirational  ;)

We live in the "Age of Silence". An Age in which Rumours are worth more then any amount of Urgold to a Fyreslayer! And therefore, to read the future, TGA Members try to use stellar (release) patterns to scry for the future!

As long as we do not have Sylvaneth Released, we really cannot say anything about more Tomes being released. I guess 40k and Chaos Knights will be stuck in the Pipeline, too, but arent as "hot" as Sylvaneth due to the Looncurse Box.

I am a bit exhausted of posting "Yeah! StD will be the next ones!" as I did it for some weeks now and was always wrong~ But Overreads assumption that the Release will be related to Warcry sounds good to me.  But yeah, Specialist Games, GHB19, new Paints, Warhammer 40k Stuff like Apocalypse and new Vehicles, all will be filling the next 2 Months of release space.

I also wouldn´t expect any big new announcements from GW until Warhammer Fest.

We’ve just had Warhammerfest?

If they had chosen to produce their tomes/papers in Europa/North Africa, we'd have all the tomes by now. And this, at a really close price to the China one, with some bonus like production reactivity, delivery time, proximity to visit/survey sites, ... China is now far from being the production Eldorado it  used to be.

So is Gotrek being made in resin ?

I asked online and the Community guys don't know what he is being made in or how he will be available at the moment. {I thought the sculpt looked suited to plastic due to the flat surfaces and how they handled the beard and hair].

.... At this point we’re getting more fantasy releases compared to AoS ones and almost no new lore /books about the new characters or new armies....

I don't think the list is actually upto date as I couldn't see Gav Thorpe's The Red Feast, which so far is really good

Yes it is a shame but he is going to be finecast.

The white dwarf in spacemarine suit and the female hero from imperial guard who was a hero from novels as gotrek were all resin.

So it is 100% for sure gotrek gonna be resin also.i would get him for sure if he was plastic, but i never gonna buy nothing done in finecast in my life

+++ MOD EDIT +++ Fixed your typing of finecast

He is kinda unique and special after what happens in realmslayer and if he brings me more stories about duardin he shall not die. Even if he dislikes it himself.😁

Yeah I need to update that listing - I've kept up with the Classic stuff, but I've got to spend an afternoon going through the AoS stuff and updating that with the newer pubilcations and short story completions and the like.

Also I think people forget that the "new" old world books are by and large reprints. They are just collected editions and new editions in print that GW has made using books that are already out there on the market, just left in the secondhand market otherwise. So yeah there's "loads of books" but they are old stories just repackaged. Which is great because it gives new generations and old ones a chance to get at the books fresh, and GW is also using it to release them digitally too.

AoS stories are all 100% fresh and new, so yeah they take a bit longer to put together because they've got to be written.

Honestly I'd be surprised if GW puts it up for general playing and doesn't have it for sale. Why bother tempting people with a product if you're not putting it up for sale - plus on the 20th July that's within the date bracket GW set ages ago (and marketed) as the release window for Warcry. It's not like teasing a demo of a computer game still in development; by that stage GW development would be totally finished and product already ordered and boxed up for sale. So yeah I expect them to be on general sale at that event, or at the very least pre-orders start on that day.

Otherwise its a wasted effort tempting and showing it off to all those gamers and not making a sale; esp when many will attend expecting to be able to make a purchase.

There is also not really much room for release.

The LARP-Trailer from May stated July 2019, so it is either release day or start of Pre-Order on July 20, 2019 (because July 27, 2019 is the last releasesaturday of July).

I'd suspect that would be the pre-order day and it would come out the last sat of the month then. Still in the time frame and what better way to get people to snap it up, by having everyone there share the low quality photos and talk about how OP the warband they happened to be playing on the day is! I'd not put it past GW, but having the release day the same day as people getting their first look at it seems a bit odd. If that's the release day, then we will have seen the pre-order the week before and anything else they put out on the game the week before, meaning that by the open day the news of the game would be 'old hat'. Still would be the first chance to play the game, but I think the buzz might have died off a bit if it's been on the community page all week.

For some reason they've got the date wrong in this email but the info in the text is more interesting. IMG_20190603_204636.jpg.a04d786a7edf5c99f27b0089161af311.jpg

That pretty much confirms it is either a July 20th preorder with early purchase for attendees, or July 20th is the global release date.

We should start seeing rules previews on the 8th or the 15th.

i expect no battletome announcements until Sylvaneth is sorted out.

id also hazard a guess that gw dont announce anything until they actually have the product finished and in their warehouse ready to ship, so that delays dont really affect anything (keep in mind that Sylvaneth had not actually been announced, they only made that statement about it being delayed because of the leak)

I would it's pre-order day but I think previews will be happening through July on the run up to it

I guess it's time to start saving then. I hope we do actually start getting rules previews soon, that would also mean they'll show off the last two chaos factions before then too unless they'll show them when they preview their rules.

We won't get rules previews yet. This week its going to be all about Contrast paint - next week I'm wagering we might start to see hints about the Generals Handbook as that has to come first and is arguably a far bigger rules impact than Warcry. Warcry I'd expect to see start heavy marketing of box contents, rules, focus, themes in the first weeks of July.

Yeah. I was saying the 8th or the 15th of July. They always start doing previews of the rules the week leading up to the preorder. This month I expect the ghb immediately after contrast so we should start seeing previews for that from Monday 10th of June. The only thing they might sneak in first is the next warhammer Quest expansion.
