GlitzFan
I have 20 units of grots with 3 netters and a flagbearer. If my opponent lands 6 wounds, do I choose the 6 grots that die or does my opponent pick them, or is it the 6 closest?
3 Ninelives
You will always pick the casualties in your units except if an ability (Stardrake, Gargants) lets you specifically pick a model and slay it. One thing to bear in mind when moving your units around, is where you will remove casualties to keep the buffs (net, standard bearer, musician etc.) and not break the unit cohesion. 0 amysrevenge
You always choose which models to allocate unsaved wounds to in your own units. Other abilities (as mentioned above) that have nothing to do with allocating wounds might have different results.
0 King Taloren
Another thought to put in is if you have a model with a shield that can negate mortal wounds be sure to read its warscroll carefully. sometimes it is when you allocate the wound to the unit, which means you can choose which model dies when it fails, and sometimes it says allocated to the model, which means if the save roll fails the model must take the wound.
0 Wraith01
You do. Unless there is a special power that over rules that. You pick what models to remove from your army. Your opponent picks what models to remove from his army.
