BloodBeast
Hey guys, been playing around with Bloodbound lists since the General's Handbook came out and I think I've settled on this. My main opponent is my partner who has picked up Seraphon. I'm into the idea of settling on a list and then grabbing all the models at once, I've already got the Started box and a few other bits and pieces. Any thoughts on this list? I've tried to maximise the synergies with the hero models to make a pretty tough list. - Khorne Lord on Juggernaut [General]: 140 - Exalted Deathbringer: 80 - Bloodsecrator: 120 - Slaughterpriest: 100 - Bloodstoker: 80 - Skullgrinder: 80 - 10 Blood Warriors [Battleline]: 200 - 20 Bloodreavers [Battleline - Meatripper Axes]: 120 - 20 Bloodreavers [Battleline - Meatripper Axes]: 120 - 10 Wrathmongers: 360 - 3 Skullcrushers: 160 - Khorgorath: 80 - Khorgorath: 80 - Khorgorath: 80 - Chaos Warshrine [Khorne]: 200 Total: 2000 points The Khorgoraths will be separate drops to maximise their regen ability (the description says the UNIT recovers 1 wound if it slays a model in combat), the heroes and warshrine are all for buff-spam, I've worked out each Bloodreaver unit can crank out max 101 attacks each if in range of the Bloodsecrator when he drops his Portal ability, which seems devastatingly over the top. My only concern is the army would be quite slow moving and lacking and possibly lacking a bit of punch, but it has a fairly high model count for a Chaos list and in theory pumps out a decent amount of damage. Thoughts and suggestions are definitely welcome. Thanks.
Arkiham
Don't count your attacks per unit, unless you can guarantee all models will get into combat, I'd say about half likely. The skullcrushers count as battleline also as of your general, if you wanted to drop a unit there is space. I like the list, my next next khorne game I've a unit of 30 blood warriors, with double bloodsecator banner. Unit champion with the goreglavie an two others, doing 6 and 5 attacks, they'll be hitting harder than most lords, an the unit will be brutal, bith attwcking in my combat phase and attacking when they die with 5 attacks each. Really enjoying blood warriors currently
Warchief Varard
True you miss out on regen on khorgorath's but you bloodstoker can boost all 3 in movement and wounding im hoping faq will make it to each model in unit but id rather them all be faster
RuneBrush
As a suggestion I'd say run your Blood Warriors with Gorefists as it may add a few mortal wounds into the army. I can see the logic in three Khorgorath's as separate units and it's something I've thought of when/if they release some new models. A few things put me off doing this. Firstly Khorgoraths aren't the hardest hitting unit out there so I regen perhaps one or two wounds per game. The size of the base means a unit of three can actually occupy a large area of the board - you only need one model to be within a buff bubble to gain a benefit and with each base being 3~4" long you can use this to collect more buffs. Lastly placing three models vs one unit could mean you get to choose who plays first. Unless I've missed something your general will be Leader only - nothing will confer Battleline to him.
Maddok
I would split the wrathmongers into two units. That should help keep them alive a bit longer, and will allow you to move their +1 attack buff more evenly around the field. You shouldn't have to worry about battle shock with them either since your banner will be planted most of the time. I've never been a huge fan of Khorgoraths, even at 80 points. I'd be very tempted to drop one or two for one or two more blood stokers. You're primary weakness as you said is speed. You'll need some big run moves early to ensure you get the kind of pressure you want on your opponet

If I use the daemon weapons that right there is my source of mortal wounds. And it fixes my biggest complaint with the khorgoraths, not enough damage. 3/3 -1 1 is a perfectly reasonable attack but 5 attacks base for 80 points was way too low.
