thundering
I'm at a frustrating crossroads at the moment. Walmart has discontinued the $1 matte primer I've been using for years. I know how to use it very well and have always been pleased with the results. Krylon doesn't bond nicely to plastic models and pools badly. I imagine the Rustoleum 2x is similarly too thick. I have Vallejo surface primer but it tends to clog my airbrush and is difficult to use for large groupings of miniatures, like batch-spraying blocks of ghouls and such. I've used Citadel primer and while its very good, the pricepoint of $17 USD makes it significantly more expensive to use, especially on casual projects. Where can I find a well-functioning, simple matte black primer that doesn't break the bank?
MarkK
I'd recommend looking for spray car primer, I use a Halfords brand spraycan, adheres well and is very fine, much cheaper than the GW can too
