Know they’re like vanilla or whatever but they’re superbly posed, their power and heft is palpable. Its taken a lot of courage to stick with the monochrome approach as it can feel sort of empty or flat in isolation but with the numbers to show for it I feel as though it’s starting to pay off. My other big ambition when returning to the hobby was to find a style for myself and have my things be recognisably mine, if not necessarily all that pretty. I'm not particularly neat with a brush as am Dyspraxic with impacts my co-ordination so realised my strengths would be better expressed through working out the things that I think are most dramatic or characteristic points of interest and focus on doing them well rather than try and make everything neat. I'm enjoying painting far more as a result I have to say. I had basically already got the main colors on, just needed to do touch up, shade, and finish. The only thing left on them is maybe a couple more details and then to do the eyes. Following this, I can go ahead and get what would be my pledges for February ready, which the goal will be 5 more Brutes, 3 Gore-gruntas, a Megaboss on foot, and a Gargant. If I can manage it, that will pretty much be all the models I have ready to paint up, so the next steps will be either digging out old models, getting more models, or putting together some more custom scenery. Skreech Verminking Posted January 28, 2019 Share Posted January 28, 2019 Hi there didn’t really had the time to paint anything, which I thought. sadly (or luckily) I got sick and without being able to do anything well I started picking my paitbrush up again after months, of tirersome schoolwork. well now I’m at home trying to finish of my Tzaangor Enlightement, for the upcoming game in my local club. so yeah even if I didn’t had any aim of finishing or painting this week, I guess you could say I am rather happy. afterall I finished painting my tzaangors shaman and a full chaos spawn. Honestly without the motivation of this this thread I would have not even gotten these done. So a big thank you to all those who contribute, it helps keep the hobby juices flowing.
