Gives you an excuse to get the whole army on the table/floor/shelving and show it off! Some people have some really huge armies, 10K, 20K or rarely even more in points; and I think those armies are worth showing off. To show the dedication and fun people have had collecting a single army to such a vast size! Luke82 Posted December 22, 2018 Share Posted December 22, 2018 It’s actually grown a bit but this is the last muster of my Nurgle army, it’s just ticked past 7000 and I believe there’s a few Nurgley goodies under the chrimbo tree as well. EccentricCircle Posted December 29, 2018 Share Posted December 29, 2018 I can add my Lizardmen / Seraphon army. I wasn't certain precisely how many points it was, as I've never fielded all of it! Working out the points total is complicated by the fact that I don't think that there is any one edition on warhammer in which you can actually use all the models! AoS doesn't have points for skink archers, or the Slann being carried by temple guards, let alone Citadel snakemen or cold ones being ridden by skinks! I've thus treated the snake men as Saurus Guard, and the Skink riders as Saurus ones, and used the most similar set of points for all the others. The result: 12410 points A few of the units are under strength, since not all of the models fit neatly into the AoS brackets (I didn't know I needed another kroxigor...) Anyone fancy a game? It might take a month or two to play, and I might need to deploy over most of my gaming table as the photo shows! I have no concept of how long it would take or how big a table you’d need but I’m sure it would be a blast. I've only dabbled with a box or two each of other army's models. I'd love to have a single army over 10k someday but haven't figured out which faction would keep me interested that long. kaaras Posted December 31, 2018 Share Posted December 31, 2018 No pictures of the whole thing but my Slaanesh force is over 5k. 50 Warriors, 40 Marauders, 15 Knights, Daemonettes, Hellstriders, Exalted Greater Daemon and a bunch of other heroes. Chariots, Chosen, Marauder Horsemen and a warshrine... On the fringes of that are the Dragon Ogors, a Hell Cannon (wish that would come back...) a Gargant and the models from the Silver Tower and Hammerhal. In fact I'm fairly sure the new format White Dwarf will have them at some point. The first 2-3K is normally fairly "easy" to build up too if you're active in gaming because that's your core army and a few extras. Stormcast also ahve a lot of variety and units so they are probably easier to bulk up to a higher points value even just by getting yourself more choices and variety. Armies with less model diversity are harder to expand up as you end up mostly buying just the same models over and over so can get more dull and have less direct use to buying more. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ok, check!" 😂 But as it's "only" 5000+ points armies you mean, I quickly counted that and came to 20 armies I have with at least 5000+ points each. 😉 For most of my armies I don't have pictures that show the complete current army. It just takes too much time to take a photo of really large armies. It takes some hours just to arrange every model on the table, take the photo and put them back in the display cabinet. But luckily I just made a new picture of my Slaves to Darkness army this week, which is one my largest armies and has about 16.500 points at the moment (this includes points for battalions). Seraphon was all I did until recently (now I've got pestilens, slaves to darkness, stormcast, death, and have pre-ordered a large goblin force, and my wife's slannesh take up half the bottom shelf).
