Thanks again guys, we really appreciate the enthusiasm! Plans are coming together and we shall shortly see what the Generals Handbook holds which we're really excited about.

We still have capacity to fit a couple more people in if anyone else would like to take part.  It's going to be an amazing weekend so if you are thinking about it, don't delay in signing up!

Also, Steve discussed #RAW16 on Episode 9 of the Bravery One podcast with @nathprescott and @sixdiceskills so go check it out!

Get in, my first Warhammer event, I better start learning how to play.

If people are on twitter and will be documenting progress of their armies, terrain, display boards etc. It would be good to see them.

I have started a follow topic on Twitter #RoadtoRAW16 please feel free to use, cheers.

I am currently working on my forest portals.

Afternoon folks, I just wanted to touch base regarding the local hotels, unfortunately we have been UNABLE to secure a group booking at any of the travelodges as mentioned we were trying to do in the pack. It seems that Cambridge hotels are so busy that they don't benefit from taking a large group booking and offering a discoutend rate for the privilage. It seems they can fill the hotels with ease.

So having looked today (4th July) I can confirm that you can book at the Travelodge (https://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/577/Cambridge-Newmarket-Road-hotel?) as they have availability.

This hotel is the closest to the venue and a double room for two nights (Friday and Saturday) is currently £135 (£67.50 each two people sharing).

There is also a Premier Inn (http://www.premierinn.com/gb/en/hotels/england/cambridgeshire/cambridge/cambridge-city-east.html?) next door to the Travelodge, both of these hotels are new builds (within the last 12 months and so are very nice indeed. The Premier Inn currently has rooms available at £168 (£84.00 each two people sharing).

Please bear in mind that Cambridge is a very busy city and hotels do book up quickly. If you want to stay near the venue these two are your best bet.

Any questions please shout, we're happy to assist where we can.
