hughwyeth
Hopefully this is the right forum- Roy Hodgson, football manager, is a huge warhammer fan. He's interviewed by Bob Mortimer on this podcast: https://athleticomince.com/ Skip to 21mins on ep70 to listen. He comes back in ep71 to talk more warhammer too! EDIT: I think he may not know the rules fully, but sounds like he's into it. Edited December 11, 2018 by hughwyeth 1
BaldoBeardo
I always love how stuff like this - as well as the frequent Newsthump and Daily Mash articles - betray the fact that the people have an understanding of GW stuff. Self-hatin' nerds!
Baron Klatz
And I thought Robin Williams being a 40k player was a shocker.

Self-hatin' nerds! When the Mash, at least, mention Warhammer in their articles (not read much Newsthump), there's this very clear understanding of it as something that people, men particularly, absolutely love and that, in a perfect world, would be allowed to enjoy publicly and unashamedly, but that it nevertheless remains something with a lot of social stigma attached to it. I tend to sort of wince and laugh in the same reflex when those articles pop up.
