Finished my Nurgle army Adding more scenery! Necromunda There will be the usual mixture of 2,000 point games going on. If you have a smaller force, then someone should be happy to give you an introductory or demo game as well. Last week: Ben Savva won Angelcore in style with his Daughters of Khaine! Beating the legend Jack Armstrong in the final game to seal victory. The field was strong - not least with Ben Murphy, Dan, Daniel, Marc Wilson and Simon Fro bringing the filth! Another trophy for the Legion! Angus had fun with the new shiny Beasts of Chaos! Mephitic (my GUO) and chums had their first game called James’s Stormcast. Ralph put the South in South London Legion - at the Sydney GT! @Age of The Erstwood Ben Savva finished painting Leo’s Dreadwood commission and Leo took it for a spin! Lots of Kill Team went down. Kudos to Daniel, who armed with Legions of Grimghasts came first at the Time of Heroes tournament! Mike had a great time playing 40K at Warhammer World! James and I locked Gauntlets with his Knights and Custodes facing off against my Space Wolves and Knights. Simon ran some Middle Earth demos - lots of excitement. John came an impressive 5th at the Malifaux English GT! Despite thinking about Middle Earth throughout! Simon Fro with his second place at #Blackout. Loads of players down across various systems! Hobby Corner On the hobby front, people are building up new armies esp. Nighthaunt/SCE. I’m painting terrain for the terrain god, but also painted a first Space Marine #WolfyWolf. 40K Our sector based campaign is going strong. People have written compelling narratives for their forces and customised their forces. 6-8 forces are taking part, with a mixture of full sized, Skirmish and Kill Team games. James and I had a super close game featuring my transitional Space Wolf list and his Knights and Custodes (the elite of the elite). Shieldbreaker sniping the Commander round one was big. A few glfailed charges were also pivotal. The Atrapos was interesting in a Knight heavy meta. Custodes square off against the Atrapos. People met up on Friday at James’s place for even more games! Bloodbowl Rob Bradley managed a commanding victory over Matt’s Chaos Dwarves to take the trophy! Slipshod, the Rat Ogre, wondered why he was being taken to a tour of a smelter. The Skitz Skatz with their trophy. Sponsorship deals are flying in. Bloodbowl is such an amazing game! New players are very welcome! Warhammer Underworlds Nightvault and magic! Working on Magore and Fyreslayers. Hoping for a game Wed. I played James's SCE last time with Fyreslayers. Good fun! The only way is up for me with my 18 games 14 Losses record. I’m loving the Fyreslayers compared to the Blood Reavers - much more my style. Excited about the new releases coming! Should be a perfect second game to fit around a main game in an evening. Or you can just play 4 games back to back . Malifaux Another fun game: Necromunda Simon Fro is leading the charge and starting a campaign soon. I’m doing Van Saar! John’s Escher took on Matt’s Orlocks for a second time. Will be going strong this year and the level of support from GW (e.g. Squat Mercenary and Genestealer Cults in White Dwarf). @Thanatos Ares @Leonardas @Bowlzee @Marc Wilson Give me a shout on the forum or post below and I can add you to our AoS WhatsApp chatroom (we broke 170,000 messages recently and counting - I swear fully half of it is John talking about Khorgoraths).
