Stat Formula for Quest?

Recommended Posts

Hey! Home - brew rules folks,

Is there some sort of formula you are using when converting new adversaries or heroes into your games of Warhammer Quest?

I know there is something for converting units into single units for Skirmish is there some thing similar out there for Quest?

Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately no.

Though with 40+ heroes and many of the Chaos models ( with 40mm or smaller bases) having adversary cards and the addition of the death adversaries it hasn’t been entirely horrible.

Totally agree, but I'd really like to run an opposite campaign with a chaos war-band invading an order stronghold with maybe Fire slayer adversaries?

Has anyone else attempted that?

I’d recommend looking at the weapons and abilities on the current fyreslayer Heroes, compare the stats and weapons of the standard fyreslayers to Adversaries currently available in the game and extrapolate from there.

Lots of comparing and contrasting to existing Adversaries mainly! Picking several similar existing Adversary groups and slowly working from there is the approach I take. I always also reference the AoS warscroll as well, to translate across as best I can.

At the end of the day though, I picture how I see the Adversary I’m trying to write and how I want it to act and interact with the Heroes, board and other Adversaries around it / them.

My favourite Adversaries are the ones like the Deathrunner whose behaviour changes dependant in certain actions / outcomes.
