Question Regarding Pile In

Hello All!

I am sorry if this is the incorrect position for this question.  With that said, I had a question regarding pile in.   There is a war scroll battalion that lets you re-roll 1's to hit "if the model has not made a move in the same turn."  Does this mean that if I Piled in, I would not be able to gain the re-roll hits of 1?  Or is a pile in separate from a move?

My own interpretation is that you wouldn't get that +1 if the model piles in as pile in is a type of move:

If the battalion ability stated "if the model had not made a normal or charge move" then you would get it.

This pile in is indeed a move.

I think the Saurus Guard ability states that they cannot move in the Movement or Charge phase, but I could very well be wrong.

A Pile-in is still a move, but in the Combat Phase.

Does the original warscroll unit in question also have a ranged attack?

Hi, pile in is separate from a move, else the eternal starhost d3 damage could never activate either.
