Are demon princes counted as Slaves to Darkness for allegiance?

Colgado

Question

Demon princes are under the slaves to darkness section in the GH, but don't have the keyword for it. Would taking a demon prince in an army that is otherwise all slaves to darkness invalidate knights being battleline for example?

He actually is the first entry in the StD section of the GA:Chaos book too. And included in their warscroll  (Godsworn), and the leader of their example fluff force. Hence the confusion.

Sorry, my bad.  @Shane is right, double check and ask on the FB page.

I've a feeling it's by design though in the same way that Skullcrushers are only battleline for Khorne Mortal - more than happy to be wrong on that one though :D

Yeah. My impression is that RaI he is part of slaves to darkness as a mortal champion who ascended. But because other factions can also use the demon prince he didn't get the slaves designation. It looks like outside of the Godsworn he isn't counted as slaves, but I think that isn't RaI (always debatable) given his position in both books.
