Colgado
Demon princes are under the slaves to darkness section in the GH, but don't have the keyword for it. Would taking a demon prince in an army that is otherwise all slaves to darkness invalidate knights being battleline for example?
Shane
Yes. Message GW. If they're listed under StD it seems odd they don't have the keyword.
RuneBrush
I think it's more that they're listed in the wrong section in GHb. They don't appear under the StD in GA: Chaos or the website (same goes for Be'lakor). StD is also exclusively "generic" Chaos Mortal so wouldn't fit anyway. Colgado
He actually is the first entry in the StD section of the GA:Chaos book too. And included in their warscroll (Godsworn), and the leader of their example fluff force. Hence the confusion.
Shane
Perhaps the intention is that if he is not marked he could be StD. I'd ask that specific question on the Facebook page.

I've a feeling it's by design though in the same way that Skullcrushers are only battleline for Khorne Mortal - more than happy to be wrong on that one though
BaldoBeardo
Might it be in StD because the Chaos Lord can turn into one? Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
BaldoBeardo
The FAQ also confirms that battalions meet allegiance requirements even if individual units don't - so RAW he's only STD as part of a Godsworn warband. Colgado
Yeah. My impression is that RaI he is part of slaves to darkness as a mortal champion who ascended. But because other factions can also use the demon prince he didn't get the slaves designation. It looks like outside of the Godsworn he isn't counted as slaves, but I think that isn't RaI (always debatable) given his position in both books.
