Hoseman
Hi all. I would like to put my graveyards as something different as a dice. The other day I was making objective points with some bits and was going to make some tombs to figure the graveyard. The thing is the size, how much has to or can be the graveyard? Is it ok on a small base? Thats important because is not the same 9" from on a round small base than 9" from a "house size graveyard"... Thanks :)
deynon
it doesn't chance about gravesites, cause by FAQ they are considers points with no interection on the field. anyway here are mine:
Honk
You can design them however you want, but they are not terrain. They are not supposed to hinder models in any way.
Hoseman
Ok thanks. I think I'll make a bit more of a base but not a thing too big that friends say I'm crazy... I will make bases like spirit hosts size
DionTheWanderer
We tend to measure from the centre of the base (and allow models to stand on it or move it out of the way, remembering where it had got to). that way you can have some nice models without worrying about affecting rules. Moonlightwolf
where possible go small with markers but really most things are fine especially if models can happily stand on the marker with out much trouble. remember that for game purposes the marker is just the point at the very centre so it shouldn't be blocking line of sight or obstructing movement. If you don't mind other miniatures being placed on top of the marker then you can pretty much go with any size just make life easy for yourself and place a distinguishing feature right at the centre of the objective so you have a point to measure from. Kokoshi
The camera doesn't focus on the gravesites, but this is what I use for them : little square bases with some skeleton sprue bits. Small enough to avoid interférences, but still more visual than a coin or a piece of paper.
Choombatta
We use the bases for the crypts from the Sigmarite Mausoleum set and just measure from the center of the model. Works great and looks great too.

Honk
You could just measure out the position of your crazy ghostfog skelli ensemble and write it down. if you then need to trample over it, you can just remove the marker and still have the coordinates to determine ranges. Hoseman
Thanks. I made mines with small bases. I made a tomb with foam and put some stones and two chainrasp cut on the middle like going out. As soon as I have them painted I will post it
ianob
I dont use anything 3d since they spend about 90% of every game with models on top of them. I use the official cardboard markers.
