Q: If I pick a friendly Barak-Zilfin Skyvessel to use the ‘There’s Always a Breeze If You Look For It’ ability in my hero phase, can that Skyvessel use its Fly High ability? If so, can up to 7 friendly models with the ‘Hitchers’ ability move with it?A: Yes to both questions

glad this is finally answered

Double Ironclad

Why not three 🙂:

Flying Endrinrigger - general 190 pts

3* Endrinriggers 300 pts

3*Ironclads  1440 pts

command point 50 pts

Total 1980 pts

Of course joke list but would be funny

Untill you have to paint all three 😂

My frigate killed al my hobby momentum. Stil dreading the inevitable ironclad.

O...........

M..........

G!!!!!!

THESE POINT DROPS ARE NUTS!!!

For me it's NOT JUST the KO drops that are great but also the CoS drops as well.....

100pt Longbeards (down 10)

110pt Ironbreakers (down 20)

Collectively I see Thrang being the big winner here personally!  I can now run some solid screens with Escort Wing and Attack Squad!!  And still potentially have room for...

100pt Warden King (down 10)

120 Knight Incantor (down 20)

To potentially even squeeze in the Soulscream bridge!

Lots MORE  dice rolls/rerolls going on here with Thrang as well!!

Now for the big question...

Anyone see any reason why Intrepid Prospectors can't still be run on tourneys - even though it's not shown in the faq???

Insert your reasoning for or against it here please...

Loving the new point reductions!

Lots of new things to do in Tempest Eye, but that is for another topic.

In pure Kharadron, I found a very nice list that fits at exactly 2000 points, playable as either Barak-Nar or Barak-Urbaz:

  • Ironclad
    • Admiral (embarked)
    • Endrinmaster (embarked)
    • 20 Thunderers (embarked)
    • "Fly High" relic
  • Frigate
    • 10 arkanauts (embarked)
  • 3 Gunhaulers
  • Escort Wing battalion

This must be quite fun to play, with the extreme mobility and firepower. Plus, you get to have a nice airfleet at the start of the battle, loaded with marines ready to drop. Exactly how I imagine the Kharadron to act in the lore.

What do you guys think? Would it be better with Urbaz or Nar ?

I'm leaning to Urbaz in order to give the Endrinmaster 3 18'' attacks with command trait and relic, this would compliment the Thunderer's rifle and the Ironclad's volley cannon perfectly.

Ehh, I would rather do this:

Khemist - 90 points - spell in a bottle
2x 10 Arkanaughts (in ironclads, and more bodies on objectives) - 180 points
1x 20 Arkanaughts - 180 points
3x Ironclads - 1440 points
Endless spell (comet, warp lightning, whatever)

This gives you 3 ships, and if you want to you can give 1 of them the endrinworks for extra capacity so it can carry the 20 man squad of arkanaughts.  The big thing here is that you get 3 squads of bodies to hold objectives with, but you can still fly in on your 3 boats.

Alternatively, you can go super-silly and have the Admiral command his fleet:

Admiral - 120 points
3x Ironclads - 1440 points
3x Gunhaulers - 390 points
Command point

This comes out to exactly 2000 points, though it does require you go with Barak Urbaz to make the gunhaulers battleline.

Don’t worry, I finished mine in only 40 hours. It was just like a moment. :D

So I've finally decided to start my long overdue Overlord project. I am thinking about starting at 1000 points (stumbled across list on another post) with the thinking I will be using these units as I expand. I know it's not super optimized and will get destroyed on objective games, but was hoping to get some feedback on recommend load outs for the units and the Ironclad.

Leader:

Endrinmaster (Dirigible Suit) - 220pts

Battlelines:

Endrinriggers (3) - 100

Endrinriggers (3) - 100

Behemoths:

Ironclad - 510

Extra CP? - 50

Total: 980
