Painbringer
It's time for the new update! I've painted 15 more Dryads, but I also bought a unit of Spite-Revenants. I like these models a lot - so I will probably build them (instead of Tree-Revenants) from the kits included in the Looncurse set.
Painbringer
I got the Sylvaneth half of the "Looncurse" set last weekend. I have already painted Kurnoth Hunters and Arch-Revenant. Here is the Arch-Revenant: 6
Painbringer
I have almost finished painting Ylthari's Guardians - I still need to paint the sorceress (unfortunately I find her the least interesting model in the unit). These guys look great and I'll be using them for my Skirmish games. 2

Painbringer
I've bought Khorne Judgements set two days ago, so I immediately decided to paint the Hexgorger Skulls:
ThalmorRepresentative
I actually just discovered this thread, but funny enough, I was aiming for a similar scheme with my Sylvaneth! Except mine are autumn! Yours are far better than my current ones right now, I still need to highlight mine up. Great job, man, these are absolutely wonderful! Also cool Bloodthirster! Milk for the Khorne Flakes, Butter for the Pop corn, etc.

I've taken a look at your Sylvaneth and they look great with this autumn colour scheme - are you aiming for the Alliance of Earth and Sea (Deepkin/Sylvaneth battalion) ? ThalmorRepresentative
Hi Painbringer, thanks for the compliment on my Sylvaneth, that's appreciated! I'm not aiming for an alliance of Earth and Sea. I'm currently building three armies - Daughters of Khaine, Sylvaneth, and Idoneth. I'm building them as separate armies right now. Hopefully they'll turn out as good as yours when I start highlighting.
Painbringer
Today I finally finished the Ylthari from the Ylthari's Guardians warband. Now the warband is complete and I'm looking forward to my first WHU game. 3
ThalmorRepresentative
Nice, I've got to get around to painting my own Guardians at some point... sucks that their AoS rules were changed. Guess GW thought that making T-Revs more useful was too much lol. I'm curious on how you did the weapons on the kurnoth hunters? The orange is shiny and vibrant enough to almost look metallic. Would love to know your process for that.

The process is actually very simple: the miniature is primed in white (vibrant colours, like orange, are much easier to do when you are using white primer) the weapon is painted with Orange Fire (Vallejo Game Color range). Usually, one coat is enough the weapon is then washed with GW Cassandora Yellow after the wash is dry, I applied edge highlights with Sun Yellow (Vallejo Game Color range) Edited August 6, 2019 by Painbringer

Painbringer
This year I decided to start a new army - Slaves to Darkness. Or, more precisely, Host of the Everchosen. I want 1500 army, containing Archaon, two units of Varanguard and probably one unit of Marauder Horsemen. Since I've become a dad recently, I am not able to paint as much as before, so Archaon took some time, but now it is finished! 9
ogarrah
What color are you using for the bark?

If you are referring to the Sylvaneth bark, for all models I've used the same combination: Vallejo Khaki as base and then Vallejo Brown Ink over it. You may add a few highlights (with khaki again) and that's it.
Painbringer
I did not manage to paint that much this year. Besides Archaon, the only model I have painted recently was the leader of my first Varanguard unit. Lockdown, working from home, job change and general lack of spare time (I became a dad last year) required prioritizing some other things in my spare time. However, recently I managed to find a bit of time for painting, so here's this bad boy: Edited December 23, 2020 by Painbringer

I've set up some painting goals for this year, so I'll post how it goes Oh, and the little guy (he's year and a half old now) seems to be very interested in some of his dad's "toys", so who knows, maybe he becomes a little hobbyist Edited January 8, 2021 by Painbringer

Painbringer
I have started painting new batch of Sylvaneth models, using different colour scheme - it was inspired by few similar ones I saw on this forum and in some battle reports I watched. There's still a lot to do, but I could not resist sharing a picture (keep in mind that this is still work in progress)
Painbringer
I started working on a narrative campaign for my two friends and me. Each of us will have a general that will be created using Anvil of Apotheosis rules and those generals will be "main characters" for this campaign. I decied to play Slaves of Darkness/Disciples of Tzeentch army, and here's my Tzeentch hero: The conversion is very simple - this is one of the Varanguard models with Tzaangor Skyfire/Englihtened head. I modified horns a a little bit by removing some small parts. Edited March 11, 2021 by Painbringer 1
Painbringer
I am trying to slowly return to more regular painting schedule, and I have a new army as well! Here's the colour scheme that I've been trying out today (guess which Army I'm going to play):
