Setting up all battle line off the table

I'll use fyreslayers with auric runesmiters as the example here. Each can tunnel with one unit during the set up and appear in any movement phase at least 9" away from the enemy.

So for a 1.5k game I take 3 units of vulkite berserkers, 3 runesmiters and a runeson on magmadroth. Can I tunnel all 3 vulkite units with my runesmiters and have just the magmadroth on the board or do I need other units actually on the board during set up?

Also for a fyreslayer specific case, does the auric runesmiter tunneling with a unit count as 1 or 2 deployments?

I can only say the same as I said here:

They are in your list and they are paid. so it's possible. It doesn't count if the unit is summoned because those units where made of requirementpoints, but this isn't the case here.

A Runesmiter + another unit should be one deployment
