Gore Pilgrims: Question....

Hello: I have a question with the operation of the battalion "Gore Pilgrims". Specifically from the ability of the SlaugtherPriest: "Acolytes of Khorne"

How does it work?

Each Battalion SlaugtherPriest (2-3) can re-roll both failed prayers?  Or can only one of these heroes do it (and I must choose which one)?

and ... re-roll Prayers and Blood Blessings? or just one of these? please help me Thank you

So, is it a writing mistake, or is it a wrong way to read it?

I have a problem with a friend who does not want to allow me to re-roll each preay and blood blessing, because of the way it is explained. : /

According to him, only a single Slaughterpriest can enjoy these skills.

The ability definitely applies to all slaughterpriests in the battalion and is available for each of them to use if needed.

That means up to 6 rerolls if each priest fails his blood blessing and blood fueled prayer.

Going to to tag on to this. Can a slaughterpriest "cast" a blood blessing and a blood fueled prayer in the same turn? I've been playing one or the other.

They can do both i.e. A prayer from their scroll and the blood blessing you assign them at the start of battle.

incodentally chaos warshrines w mark of khorne and in a khorne army can also take blood blessing as they are priests keyword too. Just can't be part of gorepilgrims

Thanks :) I see it now, guess the buffs seemed powerful enough that I skipped over that,  very nice!

If anyone complains just point out that the priest gets 2 chances of angering Khorne and taking MW's.

Yes the replies in this thread are all correct, making Gore Pilgrims one  of the stronger battalions. I usually run 3 slaughterpriests with this battalion and I feel it helps to make Khorne more competitive. I'm surprised people have complained about this battalion as being too OP, as Khorne overall is still weak in many areas. One of the most fun armies to play though!
