Bananaman
THanks! I'm just assembling some Khinerai and also just picked up a FW Avatar (or 4!) and plan to assemble 2 now and 2 later down the line for my 4 Avatar list I have planned.

Gr3g
All this stuff is amazing, your converting work it's really great ! I love your basing work as well. I made my Hag Queen just as yours, I hope it's not a problem Your stuff it's too inspirational ! Can't wait to see more orginal conversions
Bananaman
No problems at all! I'm assembling Morathi right now, but there won't be any conversions (unless something comes to me as I assemble her) as she's perfect as she is (maybe change the base a little as I will remove the aelf)
Slave2Chaos
Where did you get the pillars you used for the khinerai basing?
Bananaman
Some are from Figone, some are custom made. The jars are from Fenris. Fenris also make some cool pillars.
Bananaman
I've been busy painting and hope to have 2k painted in time for Heat 3 at the weekend. Morathi here has taken up the bulk of my time but lots of other stuff are WiP and I should spend the next few evenings ticking things off.
syph0n
Incredible work there. Absolutely love the style of these. What is the method for those wings? They look so smooth. Brush or airbrush?
Gr3g
Waouh ! The paintjob is as incredible than the conversion job ! This is an amazing stuff, can't believe it, you're talented for sure !
alasdair
Wonderful work timmy. Your colour palette is gorgeous, and the bases are really wicked. Keep it up!
Orsino
That's the best Morathi I've seen, beautiful contrast.
Bananaman
Thanks guys! Quote Incredible work there. Absolutely love the style of these. What is the method for those wings? They look so smooth. Brush or airbrush? I had planned to airbrush them, but the airbrush clogged almost straight away so I had a sulk and switched from my plan of deep red up to duck egg blue highlight and instead went with gal vorbak red (FW Paint) all over that I highlighted up with VA azure blue with kkaki edge highlights and then knocked it back to a smooth deep red transition with many washes of nuln oil, carroburg crimson and drakenhof nightshade. and multi coats of gal vorbak (its very thin) in between. RexHavoc
Wow, fantastic stuff. That is some gorgeous deep reds on Morathi and the skin tone is superb.
Bananaman
I managed to paint 2k in time for the Heat 3 AoS event at Warhamer World a couple of days ago. I was fortunate enough to get a painting nomination which was nice! Here's some pics of the 2k army. Also, Dan of AoS Shorts fame asked me to answer a few questions about the army, conversions, basin and painting etc. You can read the interview and see more army pics here https://aosshorts.com/showcase-tim-daughters-of-khaine/ blood effects and basing Q&A can be found there too
Gr3g
Waaouh Man ! That's really incredible ! Your band its fantastic, the best DOK band I ever seen ! Congrats.
syph0n
The basing is incredible. Great variety too! Did you use the Eidolon OK then? I thought you might get some moans as it's on a bigger base isn't it?
Bananaman
Thanks guys. The Eidolon is on the base it comes with. It's an allied Eidolon not an Avatar or anything. I just converted and painted him to match the army better.
syph0n
Ahh, well then that's cool. I just thought you were using him as an Avatar of Khaine. An Eidolon of Khaine looks awesome.
Bananaman
If I used him as a 3rd Avatar the list would be illegal as I already have max 4 Behemoths in Morathi, Cauldron and x2 Avatars. I do have another 2 Avatars as I planned a 4 Avatar list at one point but I think I'll go with 2 Cauldron and 2 Avatars instead and sell on the other 2 FW Avatars. Overread
@Bananaman out of interest have you any tips from your experience of building your duel-cauldron blood-cauldron? I'm wondering if I can use the parts of two cauldron kits alone to get similar to what you built (ergo without the eldar parts).
Davariel
Painting the water on the Eidolon as blood was a stroke of absolute genius! (also everything else is amazing)
Bananaman
Overread, Yeah I think you definitely could! Though you'd need to do some chopping and scraping to get parts to fit nicely.

Easygrin
This is really cool I'm really wanting to get back in the Aelves lore in Aos. As I loved the elves from the old world. Beautiful painting and conversions
