Looking good!

Thanks!

We've just done some more playtesting tonight, and I'm over the moon at how cool this little game is becoming. We tried a couple of games using 3x3 instead of 4x4, and I can easily recommend it - if you use a 6" deployment zone instead of 12" the ranges are pretty much the same, and the size of the warbands can easily be accommodated by the smaller size table. For me, it's mostly about storage - I can much easier store a 3x3 table than a 4x4, and if the gaming experience is the same, I'll go with 3x3 any day. It's also a lot easier to fill with terrain, which is another thing we had validated today - terrain can make or break a small skirmish game. We used as much terrain as we could cram on the table, including some of my new ruins (http://www.tga.community/forums/topic/12638-beginning-aos-skirmish-full-steam-ahead-on-the-warbands/?do=findComment&comment=168178) , and it made for a really exciting game, running around corners, climbing wall, etc.

Do try it out - I'm really enjoying it. :)

Most cool moment of one of the games, was definitely when my rat ogre threw a Skullreaper at my opponents Daemon Prince, stripping the prince of 2 wounds.

Hi guys - updated again to Beta 2.6, with some minor tweaks and 3 battle plans (more to come). See the rules here:

or https://aos28warband.blogspot.dk

****** Updated on 3/2 2018 Beta 2.6

Added 3 battle plans

Added fighting on different levels of terrain.

Modified Alternating Phases tie - the player who went first last phase gets to decide who goes first this phase - playtesting proved this to be the least likely to have double phases. ******

Im planning to test this out with my group soon. Hinterlands was our favorite skirmish ruleset, so  Warband looks very very promising. I really like  all the tweaks and additions.

I havent found the  "rule of one" for spells  in your rulebook (Each spell can be attempted only once per turn rather than once per wizard per turn).  As  a long time Hinterlands player it is obvious for me, but for someone new to this kind of system this might not be so clear.

That sounds great - please do report back with any feedback, comments, critique, etc. :)

Yup, the rules of one are in effect - I will clarify that. :)
