Looking amazing, love the aesthetic!

I assume you'll be mixing hair colours in units, which will add to the unorganized look. I use similar hair colors to add diversity to big hordes, and it works very well. However, you might want to consider varying just a little bit further. Adding only a glaze or an extra highlight to a couple models could net you a few platinum or strawberry blondes for example.

Overall, this plog makes me want to drop the organized uniforms of the freeguild and go for a full Ghurite army :D

New photos with weapons handles done and a base color given to the bases, I will probably try texture painting on them:

Just need to do the fur on the boots and complete the bases and the "count as" vulkite berserker are done.

I have received the pieces to start converting the "elite" unit for my army (the heartguard berserker), hope to post some photo this week.

So.... I'm starting to convert the next unit which will be the "count as" heartguard berserker.

They have 2 handed weapon and a helm to represent their elite status, but the base is the same as the other barbarian (kairic) to give the sense of cohesion of an army.

The image I'm posting is still wip but should give an idea. I haven't decided yet for the lower part, I'm in doubt between making fur on the sleeves like the other, maybe all along the shin, or extending the gown they already have to the floor.

Suggestion accepted :D (even totally different from the 2 I have exposed, maybe u have something cooler on mind)

Next 2 model of the new unit are ready, in some cases I'm using pieces of Stormcast armor to cover the left vambrace were normally the shield should be glued.

And a group shot of the first 4 :

The shinguard it's the original one from the slaughterpriest :D

The pauldron is just the base but the idea is to recreate something like this:

Tnk for ur appreciation :D

If I can give ur gut a little help the only way to start doing bigger conversion involving pricey model well... It's just to buy them and try, and then have a lot of patience and doing the bigger piece in several step starting from the "skeleton" and building up one layer at a time. The mammoth head have been done in 4 layers.

Some update on the mammoth rider, changed the shoulder with something bigger (the old one does not satisfy my WoW background  🤣🤣  ) and added a tabard on the back. Obviously both the shoulder and the tabard are just the base, they need to be finished and texturized.

Hope you could like :
