First Gobbo painted for my converted Skaven warband. Pretty pleased so far. Onto the second one now :)

These are absolutely brilliant! Looking forward to seeing the whole crew together. Weirdly enough, I really like how you painted that mushroom.

My Orruks painted with Blood Axe colours. Wanted to do something a little different with the skin. They miss their Vitamin D since its never sunny in the Underworld (that, and they can never die)

Aren't Blood Axes the 40k Orks that wear camo? They look more like Evil Sunz to me.. But in any case, great paintjob! I like how you still have some purple in the skin, seems a little more alive than just gray.

Hello, I've been recommended this forum for painting inspiration, and haven't been disappointed!
Many many pages of excellent work! (too many to mention though I have been mainly inspired to get the Sepulchral Guard and I loved the smoke effect someone did - so simple yet so effective!!!)

I thought I'd dump my minis here as well for you all to look at!
(I only got the NightVault set for Christmas, hence the Orruks being on my painting thing)

Nice colour scheme for those Nighthaunt. I would never have thought to use yellow but it’s a great fit.

Thanks!  It's a really old flesh wash that I never really use and I thought of having a raggedy brown look using it, but it kind of progressed into yellow brown  and seems to work well enough !

I got The Chosen Axes as an xmas gift so I've slapped some paint on them.   I'm not the world's biggest Fyreslayer fan but I did my best!  I will probably need to go back and do some touch ups at some point, but these are hardly embarrassing to put on the board, and certainly better than bare plastic!

Thank you, I always liked the Fyreslayer artwork where they're actually on fire, not that I think I've done that good a job replicating that look here!

In any case on to the next gang, these gits are popular right now, right?  I'm not painting 60 of them though...

The photo quality isn’t great, especially on the last two, but here are my “original eight” warbands.

I had dropped out of collecting Underworlds stuff before Nightvault came out, but now that I’ve pulled it out and played a couple more games I’m getting back into it. I’ve got three new warbands in the primer queue and another one awaiting assembly.

Pretty much finished my Cursebreakers. Entered my first tournament with them a week ago and whilst I didn't win the tournament itself I did win the painting contest!

Still have a few highlights to do (especially Stormsires hair) but pretty happy with them overall.

It's not a warband, but I did finish cracking through the Underworlds terrain pack I got for Christmas, a little bit awkward to actually use in a game as it's supposed to actually sit on the lethal hexes in some instances, but it certainly makes the board look more exciting!

I also have a certainTroggoth sat built and primed on my desk, so no doubt I'll be back in a few weeks with the results of that painting venture...
