bennnnnnn6
Hey, I'm in Tuggeranong too and looking to find some people to play with -I have recently returned to warhammer, so I'm currently working on some old world elves that I never finished painting. I'm interested in checking out AoS but I don't know anyone who plays. So I haven't played a game with the new rules yet, and most of my guys are still on square bases, but I'm working on converting to rounds. Noxescort
Sounds awesome! I'm not sure if I can be bothered rebasing my armies, but I've just started a sylvaneth (forest spirit) army and I'm really wanting to play a undead army, so looking at the start collecting box for that. my number is 0423690616 if anyone wants to organize a game, there seems to be a few venues for games, whether they are the 2 gw stores, d6 (I think it's called) in Tuggeranong or jolt games in Mitchell. I don't have my Warhammer table up here yet otherwise I'd happily host games.
bennnnnnn6
Sounds great, do you know what the deal is with playing at gw or threeD6? Do you need to book a table, or could we just show up? We could play at my place; but my "gaming table" is just some mdf boards with textured paint and foam hills/rocks/ruins, (it's also a few inches smaller than 6x4), but it's an option if you're not picky! I'm in Bonython, so it's not a hassle for me to get to any of the stores. My number's 0432 205 982.
Noxescort
To my understanding we can just rock up to any of the stores, the gw's have 2-3 tables while the other stores have more, the last few times I've been in them there's always been a bunch of free tables. I'm free tomorrow (Friday) and playing an AoS tournament this weekend at jolt games. If you're not already a member join Warhammer age of sigmar Canberra on Facebook. bennnnnnn6
Thanks for the heads up about the Facebook group didn't know it existed. I'm free in the morning on Friday or from 6pm if that works for you?
Aeon
This is the link to the Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Canberra group; https://www.facebook.com/groups/1154270377933308/ Most of us play at Jolt Games (56 Hoskins St in Mitchell) on Thursday evenings or Saturdays, although there is a community at the Belconnan GW store. Talk to the staff there and they will point out a few players that you can chat to or watch some games - it is a very friendly atmosphere.
