Slaves to the darkness - rules

Hello All,

I have some old "warriors of chaos" starting pack... so there are Chaos Warriros and Chaos Knight for example and as I have played only once... so I have some questions regarding them.
Do I need to have some General (extra model) that puts Mark of Chaos for one of the units but not for both at the time?
Or maybe this General is one of the model in the unit? So one Warrior's model ia s a General who puts Mark for the unit, and one Knight's model is a General for Knights...

If I buy Demon Prince and Chaos Sorcerer and have 3-8 Chaos Warrios I can make an allegiance.
Do they all have to be like one unit?
If not can this 10 Chaos warrios be included in allegiance or do I have to split them and put 3 seperate models to alliagance and rest to be "solo" chaos warriors?

Thanks!

Hey Pawel, these questions are a bit unclear to me but I suggest reading the unit Warscrolls on the Age of Sigmar app aswell. I'll try to awnser your questions:

- You do not need to have a Slave to Darkness General in order to give units a Mark of Chaos, that option is there for seperate units and it depends on their Warscroll which Mark they can thake and what it does for them. You still choose one Mark however.
- A General in Age of Sigmar is only a term to denote which unit gets to use his Command Ability. Every unit can excist out of 1+ models, meaning a General in many cases is a one model unit.
- You can choose a Mark per unit however you like. One reason to pick one Mark over and over again for an army is because it then gives your army acces to Allegiance abilities. Note that you can also choose to mix Marks however you like and often pick the Chaos or Slaves to Darkness Allegiance.
- If you buy one Daemon Prince, a Sorcerer and 3-8 Chaos Warriors you can legally make an army with one Allegiance.
- The above is a typical example of 3 units (Daemon Prince, Sorcerer, one unit Chaos Warriors).

A lot of these questions will also be awnsered when you check the Age of Sigmar rules and Warscrolls. To give some sence of it:
1. Age of Sigmar works on Keywords and with Warscrolls. Each Warscroll describes what constitutes as a unit. Unlike Warhammer Fantasy you cannot mix units into each other. E.g. A Hero cannot be part of a unit like it could in Warhammer Fantasy.
2. If all starting units in your army share one Keyword you can pick an [Keyword] Allegiance. This Allegiance has specific benifits.
3. Marks of Chaos in many cases are just Keywords, in some cases they have an additional effect, in some cases you can choose the Mark of Chaos in others you cannot. It all depends per Warscroll.

Cheers,
