In the "Choose Your Alliance" section, there is a paragraph about the ridges that says "any command skill or magic artifact can only be used to Affect the attacks made by the hero, while having no effect on those of the jump unless otherwise specified. " Is it a writing mistake or do you mean that the current riders will no longer be influenced by command skills and instead of the traits you , yes?
