Hey guys, I just noticed that the new GHB2017 has re-worded the rules for Reinforcement Points.
The GHB 2016 read -
"Sometimes a spell or ability will allow you to add units to your army, or replace units that have been destroyed. In a Pitched Battle, you must set aside some of your points in order to be able to use these units. The points you set aside are called your army's reinforcement points, and need to be recorded on your army roster.
Each time a unit is added to an army during a battle, you must first subtract the number of points the unit would cost from your pool of reinforcement points..."

Sometimes a spell or ability will allow you to add units to your army, or replace units that have been destroyed. For example, the Raise Zombies spell allow you to set up a new unit of Zombies during a battle, while the Slaughterborn ability allows you to return Skarr Bloodwrath to play after he has been slain. In a Pitched Battle, you must set aside some of your points in order to be able to use these units. The points you set aside are called your Army's reinforcement points.
Each time a unit is added to an army during a battle, or a destroyed unit is returned to play, you must first subtract the number of points the unit would cost from your pool of reinforcement points, unless noted otherwise. Things that do not have a points cost do not cost any reinforcement points, and can be added to your army 'for free'...."
I've bolded one of the changes relevant to my inquiry, and I'm wondering what this means for units like the Hell Pit Abomination (I'm especially interested in the Hell Pit). The Hell Pit has a special rule called "Too Horrible to Die." If the Hell Pit Dies, one of 3 things can happen. On the roll of a 1-2, the model is dead. On the roll of a 3-4, rats emerge and cause D3 wounds, but on the roll of a 5-6, "it's alive!" The model is not slain. Instead, it immediately heals D6 mortal wounds. Now in the wording of this rule, it specifically says "The model is not slain." Would this mean that I would not have to use reinforcement points on the roll of a 5-6, or would I still have to pay the points for him to "come back." If that is the case, that would totally suck - they just dropped his price - and for good reason, he (it?) was pretty bad before. The price reduction is a massive help, but if he lose the ability to come back without having to pay reinforcement points, then that's sort of a kick in the ratesticles.
