Honda
Hey guys, I'm traveling to a city that was a GW store, so I think its the right time to start in the hobby. I can see that everything is messed up because of the GHB, but I'm in love with this little lizards. Which are the unitis you recoment me buying and how can I put them together with the Start Collecting! units? Thanks a lot!
Centuryslayer
Not sure what you mean with 'messed up because of ghb' but you can't go wrong with a start collecting (or two). You can either build the two carnosaur leaders or a carno of choice + a Troglodon. I find the Troggy a good harassing unit that can mulch light infantry but has some problems against tougher units. As an added bonus it can unbind so it can be a fun wizard hunter. Other than that I really like the sunblood as a potentionally killy dude that can buff Saurus units as a general. The Slann got some reeeally good stuff. Probably the best command traits plus he can unbind 3 times with unlimited range and no LoS required. Skink starpriest has a really good spell too. Redking
Get the Start Collecting and build the Old Blood on Carnosaur, use the Troglodon bits to make a Skink Starpriest, and make one of your Knights into an Scar Veteran on Cold One. Then go on ebay and search for 4 more Saurus Warriors to bring you to 20. That will give you around 750 points to start with. You will also want to pick up the General's Handbook 2017, but the Seraphon book isn't necessary yet. You can get the warscrolls on the app (minus the battalions). Also, don't forget to budget for hobby supplies/paint if you don't already have these. Your next purchase to get you to 1000 is kind of up to you. Bastilidon is good. When you go over 1000, you will need a third battleline. You could stick with Warriors or add Guard or even skinks. Good luck
