Chrask
If you compare these two units (without battalions, keyword synergies and so on) just by their warscroll (consider that skyfires cost 200 points and flamers cost 180 points), who is better ( or like of you had to choose and don't know what you are up against) in your opinion? Do you like the kind of assassin sniper style of the skyfires or the ability the flamers have to deal with hordes?
przenicki1987
I think skyfires are still better. With up points on them and lowering points on battleline units still u can make list with 2x3 or 6x skyfire ofc with shaman Wysłane z mojego SM-G928F przy użyciu Tapatalka
Salyx
And don't forget the Close Combat Profile. Skyfires are very strong in CC as Well, whereas flamers are pretty meh...
Bethorina
Gonna be honest skyfires are still outclassed by enlightened the points has hit them hard and now with the missions sometimes requiring 20+ size units it means you cnt just take cheap maruaders and hope to win the because on one tactic that was fine in the last gb cause the missions were easier to score etc and you could afford to do the skyfire spam list with shammy's but a squad of 9 with a shaman is fine with the chaos trait lord of war for that death star unit but who knows lots of older armies have some love shall wait and see as for flamers they are what they are disgusting in big squads same as the skyfires i feel they are as bad as each other
przenicki1987
Flamers would get a chance if there would be a way to give them bonus like shaman do to skyfire Wysłane z mojego SM-G928F przy użyciu Tapatalka
