WoollyMammoth
I'd like to get some foam for homemade terrain, adding to terrain, battle boards, etc. Not sure the best place to get it. I see DOW foam on amazon, $40 for 4 24x48 1" thick sheets. Seems pricey for just some plain foam?
Lucio
Generally I use polystyrene ceiling tiles to make terrain, though you need a special spray primer if you don't want to spend ages undercoating with a brush. Apologies for the UK links, this is what I last boughthttps://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007BEZ4G8/https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01KB2X3J6/https://www.amazon.co.uk/Plasti-kote-10603-200ml-Primer-Polystyrene/dp/B001DYLXQ2
Aegisgrimm
You can get all types of DOW foam at any big hardware store like Lowes, Home Depot, Menards, as well as many types of ceiling tiles.. for drop ceilings. You can also get foam core (foam with posterboard on either side) in various thicknesses from craft stores like Hobby Lobby and Michaels.
