Tips against mixed destruction for a mixed chaos noob

So far I know that he brought the starting kit of iron jaws and Gordrak. And he's said he's gonna get some ogres before we play (not sure what yet).

I also know he's got some old school gobbos.

i know that's not much to go off. After reading a little about destruction I'm expecting massive amounts of movement, crazy magic and lots of attacks.

Any advice based on your previous battles?

1st focus on thundertusm if there will be any if he is not wounded he will do 6dmg in shooting 2+ when he get 3 dmg its go dwn to d6 what is big diference. Second if u play chos changeling from tzeentch is nice to slow dwn enemy units if u are affraid of fast engage :) but i rather would focus on some magic in chaos alliagnance u have option for best wizards in game (ofc tzeentch) one herald of tz or gaunt summoner and ur dps go highly up specially if destruction start and couldnt charge ur mages becouse of some units in front of em. Iron orcs [emoji14] have only whierdnoob who is in my opinion quite low wizard. Good option vs destruction in my opinion is 3 nice battlelines with some extra saves or blink reality (if u have deamon with standar in ur bravery test if u roll 1 u get back d6 deamons) after that i wold put shooters like skyfire or hellcanon or anything :) after that wizards and even if mounted orcs will charge in 1st turn they will be stopped in ur front lane then hit em with magic and shoot and fight em back. In my opinion destruction have big problems today becouse of lack of nice shooters use this for ur advantage

The thundertusk shooting is crazy, 6 mortal wounds. But if you drop it by 3 wounds it becomes D6 mortal wounds. So that's something to focus on.

In general Ogors are very resistant because of the amounts of wounds. I know that but still I consistently underestimate that. Make sure you have enough attacks to get rit of some ogors before they strike back.

Leadbelchers look cool but don't really do that much damage due to shooting but they still hit fairly hard in combat. The Hunter can set up behind your lines so be careful. Mournfang are dangerous not as elite as they look but are so expensive I rarely play with or against them.

So a lot of attacks help because of their (in general) low saves. And make sure you have some range to hurt the thundertusk, if only the arcane bolt. No advice on the orruks, sorry :)
