Monster transports

Anyone come up with good transport solutions for ghoul king on terrorgheist and/or vampire lord on zombie dragon? Battlefoam one i bought last year wont fit (it was designed for square bases and the wings dont line up anyway). Got a 6 hour drive to a tournament and I'd rather not have my centerpiece models being transported in a cardboard packing  box with bubblewrap like they were hobos.

I transport my Terrorgheist, Zombiedragon and Morngoul in 2 70 mm foam. Terrorgheist is lying one one side. Zombiedragon stands. The Morngoul lies between them.

You can pick out the foam by your self an can fit that way any model you want.

My bases are magnetised and I move them around in a steel toolbox. Works like a charm and I've never had any damage on my models since I moved away from foam solution.

I magnetise the bases and transport them in clear plastic boxes. I actually do it with all my models now, including skeletons. Won't be going back to foam I don't think!

I faced a similar problem when assembling my Lord of Change, in the end I magnetised the wings, so they can come off. Makes it much easier to transport. This does require planning to do it before gluing the model together though.
