Centerpiece Showdown RTT Rules Pack
 
The Centerpiece Showdown RTT is a one-day, three-round Age of Sigmar Rogue Trader Tournament (RTT) held at Total Escape Games in Broomfield, CO on Oct. 9th.

The Tournament uses the game’s latest 3rd edition ruleset. Additionally, the tournament uses the Pitched Battle 2021 Battlepack rules found in the General’s Handbook 2021.
 
1.0 General Information
Points Limit: 2,000
Max Players: 26
Entry Fee: $25 due by player check-in

Army Roster Submission: Please use Best Coast Pairings to submit your army roster
Armies do not have to painted to play, but must be at Parade-ready standard to be considered for the painting prize

3.0 Scoring
Each round, players earn Battle Points equal to the number of Victory Points they accumulated during the game. Additional Battle Points are awarded depending on the results of the game with a 10-point bonus for a Major Victory and a 5-point bonus for a Minor Victory. The top three players with the highest cumulative Battle Points after three rounds of play will be declared 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers.
TO’s Note: Since final rankings for the event are based on cumulative Battle Points, it is in your favor not to concede a battle but to attempt to complete the game or use as much of the allotted round time as possible to maximize your Battle Points.

5.0 Prizes and Awards
Gift certificates to Total Escape Games will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.
 
Pretzel Paint Studios is providing a $150 commission painting voucher as a BONUS PRIZE to the 1st place finisher. Additionally, a portion of the prize pool will be awarded to the player with the Best Painted Parade-ready army as judged by the TO Team, store staff and our sponsors.
 
6.0 Special Rules
6.1 Terrain Features
Each battlefield’s terrain features will be set up ahead of time and will remain static throughout the event. As a result, not all terrain features may adhere to the placement rules on p.11 of the GHB21. 
 
6.2 Mysterious Terrain
Instead of the Defender rolling on the Mysterious Terrain table, the TO will designate applicable scenery rules prior to play.

6.3 Proxy Models
Proxy models must be WYSIWYG as written in the DESCRIPTION of the unit’s warscroll. All proxy models must be submitted for approval no later than Oct 2. Please send a small .jpeg of your model(s) to denverageofsigmar@gmail.com with the subject line: Centerpiece Proxy.
 
6.4 Tie-Breakers
In the event of a tie, the player who completed a greater number of Battle Tactics will be declared higher in rank. If a tie continues to persist, then the player who completed a greater number of Grand Strategies will be declared higher in rank. If a tie still persists, the player with the greater number of Major victories will be declared higher in rank. 
 
6.5 Rules Disputes
It is encouraged to focus on the game and leave any rules disputes to the TO so that each player can maximize their time having fun and earning Battle Points. If there is a rules dispute during play, the TO Team will provide a final ruling on the matter.

A new narrative 2-day event will take place at the SoCal Open, in Del Mar, California USA (San Diego area), on the 23-24 October 2021!

This narrative event will be part of the Weekender global event (details coming soon) from Animosity Campaigns , where players from all over the world can contribute to how the story unfolds.
Now, at the SoCal Open, players will be able to experience the battlefields and drama between the two warring factions first hand!
 
It will be a war for the ruined holy city of Amasya in Ghyran, believed lost for centuries in the Age of Chaos… with the Hammerhal Reclamation claiming one side of the city… and the hordes of Da Maw dat Walkz the other.

    Morning guys,
    Just to confirm that the Brotherhood II Team Event has been scheduled for 8th & 9th January at the amazing new Firestorm Games venue in Cardiff.
    16 Teams of 6 Players
    £300 per Team ticket
    Tickets go on sale at 8pm on Friday 29th October (to give people a chance to form their teams & get paid!!).

    I apologise for my lack of organisation thus far!

    Hi everyone.
    I am happy to announce the The Age of Sigmar Masters 2018 
    Held on 26-27th January 2019

    Masters Invites
    Invites of the masters will be given out to the top 15 players in the Bad Dice Rankings along with the current champion Jack Armstrong at the close of the current rankings season on 8th December 2018.
    Invites will be sent out on Monday 10th December and must be accepted within 24 hours or it will be offered to the next person on the list.
    Invites must be accepted by 8pm on Tuesday 11th December.
    Additional Invites will be issued in order of their final rankings position.
    Once the 16 places are filled a further 4 players will be offered reserve spots and be asked to submit army lists.
    After the army lists have been made public no further invitations will be made.  A spare player will be available at the event and their army list will be submitted

    The UK Masters Rules Pack
    We will be playing 6 games over the weekend.  Each table will have a game mat and terrain provided.  Terrain Warscroll will be used for any Games Workshop terrain on the tables. Any other terrain will use the Scenery table.
    The event will take place in the Realm of Aqshy (FIRE)
    All wizards will know the Fireball Spell and Firestarter command ability from the Core Book.
    In each round following Battleplans will be played along with the Realmscape features and Spell of the Realms listed below.
    Relocation Orb Geysers of Boiling Blood Spell: Stoke Rage  
    Star Strike Burning Skies Spell: Incandescent Form  
    Better Part of Valour Every step a League Spell: Parch  
    Total Commitment Clouds of Smoke and Steam Spell: Inferno Blades  
    Places of Arcane Power Flaming Missiles Spell: Fiery Blast  
    Focal Points Scorched Landscape Spell: Glare of Vulcatrix The Hidden Agendas will be in play and 6 of them must be chosen on your army list to be used one per game. The Hidden Agenda triumph rules will not be used.
    Soft Scores. 
    Sports.  
    5 points will be awarded per turn completed at the event.
    25 Points per game will be awarded for gentlemanly conduct.  These are issued or removed at the tournament organisers discretion
    Painting.  
    Armies must be appropriately fully painted, based on rounds or ovals and cohesive.  
    up to 20 points will be awarded in each of these 3 sections at the tournament organisers discretion for a total of 60 points.
    Models not painted or on incorrect bases will be removed from the game and counted as destroyed and no points will be awarded for painting
    We fully expect everyone to get maximum scores in both these sections, I am not looking to reward excellence

    Army Lists that are sent in on time, legal and in the correct format will get 30 points
    If your list is late or illegal you will get 0 points.
    Army lists must be submitted at baddice.co.uk/listsubmission before midnight on Weds 9th Jan
    There will be no leeway on penalties.  It is Christmas and everyone is busy, so if you think it might be a problem over the holidays send it in now.  
    The same applies to timekeeping. Ensure you select an army that you are able to play in the time allotted and are keeping track of the time taken during your games.  No-one wants to see the masters decided on a timekeeping penalty or late game.
