PestileNZ - Rats in Middle Earth!

Well I made it out to NZ. The blue case and the KR were both full of minis, paints and modelling stuff when I left Exeter bus stn last week! I've started back at work already so don't have much time to update this, but wanted to post the pics and will update when I get free time. First tournament was Guardcon at the Auckland City Guard club in Remeura Auckland, It was on the day after I arrived and I almost missed it because my visa came late. Placed 2nd and won best painted army which was pretty cool, but even more importantly I met some awesome guys and played my first games of AOS in NZ!

Awesome, glad to hear you made it ok...and you brought all your stuff with you? Looks like you had more hobby stuff than anything!

well about 100 or so paints in one of those Citadel Hobby boxes, brushes, some bases and some mediums, with some clampacks & plastics too. Also I'm taking a few things out for people form WHW . Then the army in the KR case is about 2.5k pts.

Thing is, I would've left it at home, but stuff costs over double here in NZ, it's super expensive to buy over here.

There's also a projector in there to watch movies on.

I've got an apartment sorted now so will slowly get set up.

Next event is a narrative event called Inepticon on the Kapiti Coast.
