A bit of a different Sylvaneth theme. Entry posted by Sunchaser August 15, 2016 1,209 views Share
 Followers 0 The green theme has been a lot of fun. Im still thinking about the basing options for them Im thinking maybe a good dark brown with light foliage. 5
cb_rex 193 Posted August 15, 2016 This is going to be a great army, I love the strong green look to them, the basing probably wants to be fairly neutral and desaturated so the models really stand out nicely. Keep up the good work! Quote Link to comment
Hotdropmartin 79 Posted August 16, 2016 I agree with cb-rex keep the bases neutral so it doesn't detract from the minis. I'd be mindful of using a different tone of green on the bases, maybe stick to just the brown tones or only use greens in the same tonal gradient as the green on the dryads. Great looking stuff Quote Link to comment
Redmanphill 374 Posted August 16, 2016 I would go to town on elaborate bases for these. Plain bases would be boring and not benefit the model much, here is a guide for forest bases. Quote Link to comment
Nicard 1 Posted August 18, 2016 Really like the scheme- I'm going for a green themed Sylvaneth army as well. What colors did you use? Quote Link to comment

I used the dryad summer theme in the woodelf guide from gw. base with deathworld. Wash with bieltan green (i think thats the name?). Dry brush ogryn camo. Wash with the green again on the far tips. Some yellow glaze and then highlight with wych flesh if ou want Quote Link to comment
Dracothjay 192 Posted October 23, 2016 What colours did you use on the dryads to get that almost white looking wood? Quote Link to comment
