Painted up a White Lion Chariot in the same classic color scheme as the White Lions in the previous post. Happy with how it came out! Several assorted thoughts:

  • contrast made the manes incredibly easy (just diluted gryph charger grey)
  • not super happy with the freehand on the banner -- I wish I had just done a simpler elvish rune -- but hey, you learn as you go
  • this was my first time painting / assembling a vehicle. Overall it wasn't easier or harder than painting a character but all the subassemblies definitely made things more fiddly
  • pinning is so important to get all the bits to stick together (the banner to the chariot, the lions to the milliput road, etc).
