Beutiful frigate! Intresting to see a dark, almost sinister paint scheme with the purpule and red.  I am curious of how you came to choose this colors (and overall experience with the assembly of the ship).

Thanks dude. I actually think it's quite a warm colour scheme! Brown, Navy and cream. I basically took the studio paint scheme and swapped the purple for blue (a more suitable naval colour).  I consider it a riff on the Barak Mjornar scheme (on a side note; I don't know why they made the skyports colour ways so restrictive. Could have been blue and yellow or purple and cream rather than purple overalls with silver armour, blue armour with cream overalls. Anyway).

 

Putting it together was quite fun but also a bit daunting. I've got an Ironclad sitting there waiting to go but that seems a bit much at the mo. I kept it all in sub assemblies whilst I was painting it which made it feel that I wasn't making a lot of progress at times. 

Getting into these airships has always intimidated me, but this is truly inspiring.
