Just curious if anyone else is trying to work out a competitive list for bonesplittas. I'm back to AOS with the general's handbook and I always wanted to do savage orcs. I'll share my current ideas, but would love to hear other people's views: bonesplittas - don't have any big monsters, so we're looking at strength in numbers. We do get a lot of wounds, but there's no way (under 2000 points) that I can find to activate the "extra juju warpaint" that would mean 6 re-rollable. Current Idea for a list: 2000 points (exactly) Snagga Rukk (40 points) 2x10 savage boarboy maniaks (these guys run out to grab objectives - they can also take buffs and beat down small units with their double attacks) (720 points) Maniak Weirdnob: Juju wotznotz, Brutal beast spirits (100 points) Maniak Weirdnob: Big Wurgog Mask, Hand of Gork (100 points) BoneGrinz (40 points) Teef Rukk (40 points) 2x2 Big Stabbas (200 points) Kunning Rukk (60 points) Savage Big Boss (100 points): General, Squirmy Warpaint, Dokk Juice Arrer Boyz x30 (300 points) 3x10 savage orruks with chompas (300 points) Wardokk (not part of any scroll): Kunning beast spirits and mystic waagh paint. maniaks can hopefully go out and grab objectives or hurt units. Big Stabbas also get into place to do some damage - especially to anything with a good save. The kunning rukk sticks around in my zone and tries to hold my objectives. i'd really like to get a wurgog prophet in here, but not sure how best to do it. Dropping "bonegrinz" and one unit of 10 savage orruks would do it for me. Thoughts? What are your lists?
Admittedly I am not a super serious player but I enjoy this hobby to its fullest. I am a big painter but want to step up my win record. My question is simple(ish) what am I doing wrong to win? I have been playing Khorne Bloodbound after splitting a starter box with a friend, I know the rules well, but am always coming up short in my games. I was hoping the community had some insights into lists or tactics that worked well with Bloodbound. First, here's the last list I ran for a multi player game with myself and two others. It is fairly representative of similar lists I run: Bloodsecrator (love those buffs) Bloodstoker (cheap and ditto) 10 blood warriors (battle line) 10 bloodletters ( new to me, but seem better than others, mortal wounds on 6's) 5 wrathmongers 5 Skullreapers 1 skull cannon ( 1st tie running it and it was hit and miss but wanted some range) -–– beyond 1000pts I typically add Slaughterpriest skullcrushers bloodreavers 20 khorgorath (not too excited about) ----------- my meta and friends are somewhat competitive but not too serious so my question is more about how would you play this? Or what would you add differently in its design. Heres the final note: Tactically I tend to play pretty fluffy which means I rush when playing Khorne (although I suspect t I am not alone here). I also suspect this may not be ideal to lasting long in certain scenarios. That said I have loads of fun (even when losing). Love this game, feel the rules are much more manageable. Are there any mainly bloodhound players out there with advice. Sidenote: I recently got the Gorechosen box set, so along with the last white dwarf I have 7+ heroes at my disposal. What herpes have been dominating the field? Thanks in advance!
Hey guys, i need help putting together a Bonesplitters 2000 point list. I wanna use the kunnin rukk and run 80 or so arrow boys lol but dont know what to gill in fot the rest, I kinda like the idea of having the iron jaws weird nob shawman in there because he still gets his buffs from ork units.
