  1. Hi all, Long time lurker in this forum and thought I would post the list I am planning for next year. Fairly new to aos and completely new to deepkin so if I have made any obvious errors feel free to point them out. Leaders Akhelian King - general Isharann Soulrender Isharann Soulscryer Celestant prime -ally Battleline Thralls -10 Morsarr guard -3 Morsarr guard -3 Morsarr guard -3 Morsarr guard -3 Other Allopexes -4 Comes to 2000 points on the nose. I have included the prime because I love the model and I saw another poster use it and loved the idea. I am planning on using the Soulrender and thralls to sit on an objective and hold it, hopefully pulling replacing any losses using the Soulrender's ability. The scryer and sharks will be kept on reserve and used as a behind the screens monster/mage hunting force. Although I am not sure how to run the sharks, one unit of 4 or two units of 2?
  2. Similar to above. I will go for anow army based on either the message or looks. I have recently just picked up Deepkin due to the awesome models and the fluff, soul stealing underwater elves, yes please. ( the fact that I don't have to paint eyes is a massive bonus). I will then build a 1000pt or 1500 pt list based on the models I like. As I am building and painting I then start reading the rulebook, battle reports on here and youtube videos so I get an idea of how the army plays. Then I will begin playing some test matches and building up my army. Once I have a good understanding of the basic rules I will start bringing in more competitive units and planning for completions etc. Once again researching ideas through youtube Facebook groups and this forum.
  3. Hi, what time are you expecting to start and finish each day? I live 40 minster away and just trying to work out if I would need a hotel or can drive home afterwards.
  4. Hey Chris, that a fantastic right up, I think it's testimony to you playing skills and knowledge of the game that you continue to place high with a maybe weaker army. Are you planning to run ironjaws after gh 2017 or starting something fresh?
  5. Man that is an amazing model. I would love to see that leading your army into battle. How do we get gw to release rules for a krunkasaur?
  6. The wife has just bought be some gore gruntas for father's day and to wait to get my hands on them. I will be picking up a start collecting and a warboss at the end of them month so should have a decent starting point for an army. I currently have the warband. Can't wait to get some games in, your battle reports sound like such fun.
  7. Hi Chris, I left warhammer when age of sigmar kicked in, had my head turned by other games, malifaux and guildball to name a few, and when the skirmish rules were released last Month I decided now would be a good time to jump back in. I picked up the skirmish book and the ironjaws warband with the intention of painting up a couple of models and getting a few games in at my flgs. Then I started putting together the models and realised how amazing they were, so I had a looksie on the t'internet and stumbled onto this blog/forum/thread, and I am now quickly becoming addicted to ironjaws. Your army, your exploits and your passion has rubbed off on me and I can't wait to get some models completed and start playing so I just wanted to say thank you for helping kick start my gaming again, I hadn't realised how much I missed it.
