  1. @elfheadI love this stuff. Especially the blending of fantasy & sci-fi elements in your figures.
  2. @Paul G would you show us a picture of the back of your witch hunter?
  3. To be honest I don't think it's possible to turn this model into anything subtle. I'm just aiming for something other than the classice Khorne chaos warrior look.
  4. @Dwerg & @Morghot thanks for the comments! I haven't decided yet, but will post the end result here.
  5. It's pretty cool to go give him a gun & sci-fi bits. Some would argue this belongs more in INQ28 than Dark Age of Sigmar, but I think it could be fantasy as well. Dying Earth, Masters of the Universe, that sort of thing. And who knows, maybe the AOS world is the very very distant future of WH40K's Terra, long after the Emperor has died his final death, when technology has become so incomprehensible it is regarded as magic.
  6. Cool. I don't really care about winning, so I'll see if I can come up with something.
  7. Does it have to be painted? (I only convert but have someone else paint for me as i don't really enjoy that bit :-p )
  8. To be honest, I think the smaller shield looks better. It makes your croc look bigger :-)
  9. One advantage in carefully selecting your base kits & doing some planning in advance, is that it will keep your warband consistent. While you do want some variation in size, anatomy & gear, it really helps tie everything together if most of your base models, or at least the grunts, come from only one ( or maybe two closely related) basic boxes.
  10. That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw these conversions, classic high fantasy of the 70s to 80s.
  11. I love the high fantasy & non-historical look of your conversions. This what AOS is about to me. It may be dark, it may be gritty, but should also always be fantastic and different from our world's past (or Mordheim ).
  12. Some older miniatures. Conversions done by me, painting by the very talented Robin Mannion of Blightforge
  13. I think this guy might fit here... (though I'm really cheating as he was done for another sci-fantasy project and not specifically for Dark Age of Sigmar)
