  3. Ruk is strong but if you put some scouts in front of it like shades it stops them moving too far forward in turn 1. I took Shades and 2 wizards casting -1 to hit. I was prepared for Ruk and I think most armies can be too. Cunning deciever for example.
  4. My thoughts on LoS blocking terrain are as follows: 1. If you're building a list where terrain helps you and the pack allows it then it is part of your army and you should do it if it helps you. Hellstorm rocket batteries would not be deployed in an open field in a real battle. 2. If people brought 5 pieces of terrain with no LoS blocking and all shooting that could also be deemed gamey as they are stopping you hiding from their shooting. 3. I think taking 2 large L shaped ruins gained me 50pts over the weekend. Build your terrain to suit your army, play the pack. 4. I saw people with horde armies and huge pieces of area terrain so that's just as bad.

Event Title: Hard 6 Superbowl I Event Author: jay6 Calendar: Events UK Event Date: 02/11/2017 09:00 AM to 02/11/2017 06:00 PM Presents: Hard6 Superbowl I The Event: We wanted to try and bring some of the experiences we have had from AoS events to the Bloodbowl pitch and try to encourage players to paint their teams to a decent standard and put effort into what we believe is more than just an “on the pitch” game. We want players to have fun and worry less about winning their matches and more about having an enjoyable day and enjoyable games against opponents who are as much about the hobby as they are about winning! Don’t get us wrong though, winning the event is still by far the top accolade but finishing last with the best painted team will still be a great achievement. EDIT: The Hard6 Superbowl will take place at the http://www.spitandsawdust.pub “SPIT AND SAWDUST" 21 Bartholomew Street, London SE1 4AL, London on 11th Februrary 2017. If you want to reserve a place without paying then please email me at the following address, places will however go to players who have paid. Tickets are £20 and can be purchased via PAYPAL to jayhopkinson@gmail.com and for this you get: Custom set of dice including block dice along with hard6 dice that are yours FOREVER!!! You may pick TWO skills to add to your team for free but they are not allowed to be added to the same player. The “illegal Procedures” rule will not be in effect for the movement of turn counters. Enducements are not allowed. If you want to bring a pitch you have made then feel free to do so and you will have your pitch judged along with the other pitches for the accolade of “Best Stadium” There will be soft scoring at the event and the entire scoring system is here for you to see. There are a total of 21pts available over the weekend Scoring: Win – 3pts Draw – 1pt Loss – 0 Winning a game by 4 or more touchdowns – 1pt (this accolade is only available twice however it will be used to tiebreak the event in the case of a dead heat) Painting: (one of the following) Beautiful – 3pts Extra effort – 2pts Minimum Standard – 1pt Submitting your CORRECT team roster via email by the required date – 1pt Sports Votes Each player will start the event on 3 Sports points, if ONE opponent complains about you then you will get away with it, however after the first complaint you will lose 1pt per game. 11. Realms at War 2016 - Results & Feedback Thread

I think it's safe to say everyone had a great time at probably the best event we have seen for a long time. Great things Packs were great but a little complicated (especially if you didn't read them like me) Scenarios were all fantastic and being able to jump around tables was great The tables were the best tables we've seen hands down. All organisers were upbeat and helpful at all times Prize support was great Everyone played in the spirit of AoS Mitzy dancing with Ming Not so great things (but these are all after trying to find fault) I would say that there could have been more food Painting awards should require the voting slips to have the players name who is voting on it to stop club mates pooling for votes A larger % of points at the narrative event should be painting, maybe extra points for nominated armies, or just a "wow factor" category as ultimately pretty much everyone ticked all required painting elements but some (like Bish) should definitely have got a few more points than someone who did the bare minimum Team scenarios were a bit meh and probably just wasted a bit of time Being able to play in a "team" with club mates for a top team award would be cool A tally of points killed by legend and a most bloody award for the legend would also be a real incentive to get him into combat, I felt the scenarios favoured keeping him alive and you really want to get it stuck in! Other than that I just want to say thanks for everything and there will be a full review on the podcast due out on friday 25th. www.hard6.co.uk Jay
